Oregon’s former Elections Director, Steve Trout, warned officials about serious election technology vulnerabilities SIX YEARS AGO. Days later, he was out of a job.
Now, just days before the November 3 election, those warnings deserve renewed attention.
In November 2020, Oregon Elections Director Steve Trout issued a blistering memorandum identifying serious problems within the Secretary of State’s office.
Among his findings:
• 12 requested technology improvements had gone unfunded.
• Some election systems were running on Windows Server 2008, which Microsoft no longer supported.
• Public-facing election websites depended on a single power supply and internet connection, without adequate redundancy.
• Security upgrades and repairs to dozens of software bugs remained unfunded.
Trout warned that the agency’s aging technology and lack of support made it nearly impossible to succeed.
Days later, he was gone.
Trout said then-Secretary of State Bev Clarno fired him by TEXT MESSAGE.
Fast-forward six years.
On October 23, 2026, an internal Oregon Secretary of State election-testing website was discovered accessible to the public internet, displaying simulated election results.
According to the @Oregonian a system update allowed the staging website to become accessible outside its protective firewall. Of course, Oregon’s largest newspaper reported the breach as an innocent opsie.
Here’s the question: Did Oregon ever fix the election technology problems Steve Trout warned them about in 2020?
We don’t yet know whether Trout’s warnings have any direct connection to this latest security incident.
But Secretary of State Tobias Read should be able to tell Oregonians exactly which of Trout’s 12 requested improvements were completed, which remain outstanding, and whether any unresolved vulnerabilities contributed to this exposure. Hey, @ORSecretaryRead, can you provide Oregonians this information, or not?
Six years. Multiple secretaries of state. One whom probably should be in jail. And now, yet another reason to examine Oregon’s election infrastructure.
Oregonians deserve documented answers, not simply assurances that their elections are secure.

🚨 BREAKING: THE SUPREME COURT JUST DROPPED A BOMBSHELL 🚨
6-3 EMERGENCY RULING — Trump admin can NOW use the modified SAVE database to VERIFY citizenship and HUNT noncitizens hiding on voter rolls! 🗳️🇺🇸🔥
They tried to STOP it. Lower court BLOCKED it. Then Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson + Sotomayor + Kagan DISSENTED HARD — claiming it might “wrongly flag” lawful voters and “burden” naturalized citizens. 😱
Really?? With elections weeks away they care more about potential data errors than STOPPING illegal votes??
This isn’t about “equity.”
This is about WHETHER AMERICAN ELECTIONS BELONG TO AMERICAN CITIZENS.
The Court said the government has a DUTY to help states clean the rolls. Midterms are coming. They wanted delay. SCOTUS said NO.
Integrity just scored a massive win. ⚖️💥
The dissenters are on the record. History will remember who fought to keep the rolls dirty.

🚨 BEAUTIFUL: 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy's dad was just seen praying for injured wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
Nobody asked him to do it, and nobody handed him a script. He just bowed his head and prayed for a young man who was hurting on that field.
That's what faith looks like. That's what a real father looks like.
The media will spend all week on hot takes and drama. This is the moment that actually matters.
Praying for Deebo's full recovery. God is still in this game.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as watching a leftist hack like Jake Tapper get schooled by someone with some common sense.
"I understand if you become Governor of Florida," Tapper asked Republican candidate Rep Byron Donalds, "That you plan to make it illegal for people to display a different gender in public. Why are you so willing to stomp on people's personal rights?"
"Personal rights include the right to bear arms. The right to free speech and religion," Donalds replied, "It doesn't mean the right to deceive your fellow citizens so you can live out your fantasies in another gender's bathroom."
Tapper didn't have a comeback other than to ask how often Donalds thinks that really happens.
"If it happens once, it's too much."
What's your response to this......??👀

Three examples of the difference between Republicans and Democrats:
1. If a Republican doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a Democrat doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
2. If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
3. If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.
Vote RED and stop the Democrats nonsense🇺🇸

🚨INCREDIBLE: Tumwater High School girls track team stood on the podium at the Washington state championships in Tacoma wearing shirts that read “Keep Women’s Sports Female.”
The moment came after a transgender athlete from East Valley High School in Spokane, Veronica Garcia, competed in multiple girls’ events and won a state title. Tumwater’s girls had beaten Garcia’s relay team in a prelim before finishing outside the top spots in the final.
Tumwater’s school board had earlier passed a resolution seeking to limit girls’ events to biological females after the district faced a federal investigation over a game involving a transgender athlete. The shirts drew immediate attention, with some calling them a protest for fairness and others labeling them anti-trans.
The girls wore the message on the medal stand. This is incredible bravery!👏🏾

Abby Phillip: “Of those, 385 attacks were targeted against Christians, resulting in 317 deaths. But in the same period, there are 417 deaths among Muslims and 196 attacks.”
Scott Jennings: “I don't think you can minimize this, Abby. No. There's been about a 100,000, upwards of 100,000 since 2009. 7,000 this year!”
Abby Phillip: *OFFENDED* “Hold on a second, Scott. Just because I'm putting facts on the table doesn't mean that I am minimizing the deaths of anyone. It's called information. Information is okay to consume. Like, it's fine to say that it is both bad that Christians are being kiIIed, and also it is bad that Muslims are being kiIIed. Are you able to say that?”
Scott Jennings: “Here's what I'm able to say. Upwards of 100,000 Christians in Nigeria have been slaughtered. It is a genocide. The same people who are worried about the Middle East have nothing to say about this. There are 7,000 deaths this year. 35 per day!”
Scott is the best!
