For the women that participate in rape culture like this, you know you don’t give cool girl Mia pulp fiction vibes right? You give the estranged weird aunt that protects her husband Chester the Molester vibes

Men’s respect for blue collar workers the second women join them:
Recent data shows more women are skipping college to make six figures as electricians, car mechanics and truck drivers

I am too scared to use most common tampon brands because of bleach and lead and people are out here using pfas dirty toilet paper.
OK as someone who's done the Toilet Paper Tampon move myself countless times what we're not gonna do is pretend this is male authors not knowing how to write women and not something women actually do

Yes I would want my boyfriend to be friends with my friends. It would make me so happy to see them love my person, not just because he’s dating me but because he’s actually a good person and they genuinely want him around ??

White woman tears is when you were a victim of childhood sexual abuse
Something Obama understood when he was facing off with Hillary is you as a minority dude have to be very careful about personally attacking a white woman. Vivek just doesn’t seem that savvy about politics.

Learned more about the making of the Blair Witch Project and I am SO angry on behalf of Mike, Josh and Heather. I am one of those people who saw it in the theater and was completely ignorant about how the film was actually made. All of the confusion and viral marketing around it led to so much misinformation and ambiguity, especially since their real names were used as the names of the characters they portrayed. These three young people were improvisational actors. They were NOT deceived or misled in order to get them to “act better.” They never felt genuinely scared or went truly hungry. Yes, they really camped and no, they were not given scripts, but they knew the general plot line and were given prompts every day to help them improvise. They had to be trained to use cameras. They filmed the entire movie, every scene, THEMSELVES with hand held cameras and without ANY director telling them what to do. It was all instinct and improvisation and acting their butts off. And they made creative storyline decisions that were brilliant and inspired. Michael C. Williams decided to kick the map into the river and he didn’t tell anyone, and he instinctively chose the moment when they were all laughing to inform Heather and Josh of what he did. He came up with that and it was a HUGE moment in the film that changed the trajectory. And Heather responded to it brilliantly, as well. Heather improvised her entire flashlight monologue and cried real tears, not because she was abused or genuinely frightened by the crew, but because she was a GOOD ACTOR. And after this film became huge and broke records for being the most profitable movie ever made, the studio screwed these kids out of a reasonable paycheck that would have changed their lives and been a drop in the bucket for the studio given how huge the profits were. The three young artists who made this movie everything it is did not have agents or representation, so they got nothing. Additionally, because of the way in which the film was marketed and all of the confusion around it, everyone (including other studios and casting directors) thought these three were not really acting. They assumed they were having real moments of hunger and terror and stress, because the studio wanted everyone to believe that. They FILMED and ACTED and WROTE and IMPROVISED a timeless classic, got no money and no credit for it. When the box office broke $100M, the studio sent them fruit baskets. 😭 Hollywood is truly malevolent. This has to be the biggest injustice in Hollywood history.

the idea that men can't get hard if "you're not into it" is a really fucked up rape myth
Look, I'm a former escort AND slut Men straight up cannot get hard if they think you're not into it Men hesitate mid-sex if they suspect you so much as winced I promise my sample size is higher than yours, and no, most men are not into sex a woman doesn't want I am not here for women who pretend most men are passive-aggressive predators, cuz they're not

The rape is le trauma perspective that progressives have now is NOT working. We need to decenter victims in the conversation, the same way we do when talking abt hate crimes and micro aggressions. It’s abt the perpetrator’s behavior.

The first step imo is recognizing bitch, cunt, whore, etc. as slurs against women. I do not care how u feel abt hearing those words, I care abt why they are coming out of people’s mouths.

I love posts like these, should open womens eyes.
I once got an acquittal for a guy who grabbed his wife by the hair, slapped her, and then fired a revolver next to her head… and then threw her out of the trailer and fired another round in the air outside of the trailer… because he was trying to watch the Super Bowl and she wouldn’t stop nagging him. I tried the case because there was no plea deal even offered. Two felonies, both with mandatory 10 years and no parole. Nothing to lose… After the wife testified at trial, being particularly nasty to me on cross examination, the jury apparently sympathized with my client, who had been married to her for decades, and just like that… set him free. Even the judge couldn’t believe it. That trailer is still sitting there - now abandoned - on the side of US 219 and you can still see the bullet hole in the wall.
