Looking for a video editor for an upcoming project, with potential for ongoing work if it's a good fit.
Specifically someone who knows how to make tech / SaaS content engaging to watch. Experience editing software demos, tech videos, or SaaS content is a big plus.
Drop your best example, portfolio and contact info in the comments. I’d love to check out your work!
One little ask: please keep submissions to the comments on this post. No emails, DMs or messages on other socials, please.
My brain simply does not have the capacity to check 17 different platforms for submissions. 😂
Has anyone worked with Vamp Network on their custom creator portfolio website build?
Would love some honest feedback before moving forward!
Client: “Do you have an old toilet or bathtub you could film in front of?”
Me: “I have a mechanical room.” 💀

Hustled my way into a six month non-compete retainer contract. WHAT THE HELL!!!! 👀
I’m wrapping up my 12th project with this client since July.
Having worked as a nurse on an endocrinology floor, creating content around hormones, PCOS, and fertility comes pretty naturally to me.
The client offered a year. I negotiated six months, with five videos a month.
And a reminder: exclusivity isn’t automatically a bad deal.
Look at the compensation, the length of the commitment, and exactly what you’re agreeing to.
If the terms make sense for your business, it can absolutely be worth it. 👀

TALKING HEAD UGC EXAMPLE 👇🏽
The strategy behind this concept?
Instead of just talking about saving energy, we built the concept around making a no-bake Thanksgiving pie.
The goal? Show people a simple way to save energy during the holidays through something they’d actually be doing anyway.
Making the tip feel relevant to the season instead of just listing energy-saving tips.

One line. That’s all it took for me to lose my damn mind….
Third time working with Efficiency Nova Scotia, and my FIFTH video with them. 👀
We went with a Thanksgiving inspired concept to bring awareness to energy use during the holidays.

We love a client who comes back THREE times in a few months 👀
The first two projects were built around nursing related concepts, so this one was a little different.
Here’s a few snippets from this one👇🏽

FFS stop using TRYBE as a place to do gifted collaborations or seeding campaigns. We have a lot of platforms that already do that. You're not using it to its fullest potential as a PERFORMANCE BASED platform.
Here's how I'd actually use it if you're trying to build a creator program that contributes to paid social 👇🏻
1. Be selective with who gets product.
You don't need to approve every creator who applies. Look at whether they can actually communicate on camera and whether their content makes sense for the customer you're trying to reach.
2. Give creators enough direction to make something useful.
Your brief should give them the product facts, customer pain points, offer, claims they can and can't make, and examples of what's currently working. They should understand what you're trying to sell without being handed a script.
3. Review submissions quickly.
If creators are submitting content and it sits in review for two-three weeks, you're slowing down the entire program. Approve usable content, give actionable feedback when something needs work, and keep things moving.
4. Actually launch the content into ads.
I've seen brands with a huge library of approved creator content that has never been tested. Before recruiting another hundred creators, figure out why the content you've already collected isn't making it into the ad account.
IF YOU'RE PAYING CREATORS BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR ADS, THEN THEY'RE SUBMITTING CONTENT "FOR FREE" WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT IT WILL ACTUALLY BE RUN AS AN AD. HOW TF ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO EARN IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA RUN IT?
APPROVE WHAT YOU CAN RUN. REJECT WHAT YOU CAN'T AND GIVE THE CREATOR FEEDBACK. DON'T JUST APPROVE EVERYTHING BECAUSE YOU'RE SCARED TO HURT THE CREATOR'S FEELINGS.
5. Understand that launching an ad is only the beginning of the test.
Some creator ads will barely spend, some will get turned off quickly, and a small number will continue getting budget because they're showing promise. You need enough creative going through this process to actually learn what works.
6. Look at the creators getting meaningful spend.
Once you have enough data, look at which creators are consistently getting budget behind their content and which ones have produced multiple ads that spend... AND INVEST IN THEM EARLY.
7. Use performance data to guide the next round of content.
If certain hooks, pain points, formats or products keep getting spend, tell your creators. Host weekly or bi-weekly calls with them. You just CAN'T skip this part.
8. Recruit based on what you've learned.
Once you know which creator profiles, products, angles and formats are actually working in paid social, use that information when recruiting the next group. You're no longer just adding creators to the roster and hoping someone makes something good.
🩷 Sincerely,
someone who spends 12+ hours a day on trybe, discord and slack working on affiliate programs and paying out over $250K in creator commissions and bonuses
