>get convicted of corruption
>get sentenced to 12 years
>get released by the STF on procedural errors

>Congress votes to cut his sentence
>Lula vetoes it
>four years later, face his son
>during a debate, threaten to also lock him up if he loses the election
>election day

It sold somewhere north of 2 million copies. 190-200 million in revenue on a 300 million dollars budget. It's already lost 100 Million dollars, and that's BEFORE you take into consideration licensing fees.
Marvel’s Wolverine was the HIGHEST selling game of September…
it sold more than onimusha, the blood of dawnwalker and control resonant.
this is a classic example of reviews not meaning SHIT, gamespot, IGN and skillup SHAT on it and still sold INSANELY well
not to forget it’s 4.5/5 rating on playstation store
it’s safe to say Wolverine is a HUGE success

A Planned Parenthood doctor tries to lecture Matt Walsh on child gender identity and insists even babies understand gender.
Then he asked her about Santa Claus, and it was over.
MICHELLE FORCIER: “There’s research and data that show that babies and infants understand differences in gender. Some children figure out their gender really early...”
WALSH: “Have you ever met a 4-year-old who believes in Santa Claus?”
FORCIER: “Mhm.”
WALSH: “So, this is someone who believes that a fat man is traveling through the sky on a flying reindeer at lightning speed coming down his chimney with presents.”
FORCIER: “Yeah.”
WALSH: “Would you say that this is someone who maybe has a tenuous grasp on reality?”
FORCIER: “They have an appropriate 4-year-old handle on the reality that’s very real for them.”
WALSH: “Agreed. Agreed. But Santa Claus is real for them, but Santa Claus is not actually real.”
FORCIER: “Yeah, well, and but Santa Claus does deliver their Christmas presents.”
WALSH: “Well, yeah, but he’s not real, though.”
FORCIER: “To that child, they are.”
WALSH: “When I see a child who, you know, believes in Santa Claus, and then let’s say this is a boy and he says, ‘I’m a girl.’ This is someone who can’t distinguish between fantasy and reality, so how could you take that as a reality?”
FORCIER: “I would say that as a pediatrician and as a parent, I would say how wonderful my 4-year-old and their imagination is.”
Most 4-year-olds can’t even tie their shoes. We don’t let them cross the street alone, pick their bedtime, or choose what’s for dinner. But she thinks they’re mature enough to decide they’re “in the wrong body.”
The most terrifying part about this lady is that she’s also an Assistant Dean of Admissions at Brown University.
She’s not just affirming fantasy as reality in her own practice. She’s helping hand-pick the next generation of doctors — ones who think just like her.

Dragon Age 2 is proof of what BioWare was capable of under EA's pressure.
16 months of development. A $25 million budget. Limited resources. EA told them to get to work and ship the damn game, and somehow, despite having every odd stacked against them, they managed to make something special.
Was it perfect? Fuck no. Repeated assets, recycled dungeons, a smaller scope. But the writing was so good that it gave us Hawke, one of the most iconic voiced protagonists in RPG history, right alongside Shepard.
Now compare that to Veilguard. BioWare had nearly a decade and hundreds of millions of dollars to figure things out, and THAT was the end product.
At some point, you have to admit that you can only shift so much blame onto the publisher before you have to start looking at the people actually making the games.

Another legendary studio from my childhood bites the dust due because they thought appealing to the "Modern Audience" was more important than actual gamers and Dragon Age fans.

Unfortunately, Bioware really only had 3 distinct options going forward.
(I am probably not the first person to make this joke)

The whole "EA forced BioWare..." narrative is built on misinformation.
Ex-Bioware GM Aaryn Flynn already confirmed years back they voluntarily chose to work with Frostbite on Andromeda.
Anthem was also Casey Hudson's brainchild. His baby. He pitched the live-service plan to EA.
