#KansasSenate Adam Hamilton on transgender rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself.” “I’m gonna love the trans person as well as the straight person, male or female. We have to do better than picking on small groups. What’s happened is we’ve turned a group of people into a campaign issue because it polls well.”

"Republicans point out that Acton’s stepfather was never convicted"...operatives are defending the ad noting the accused (who posted bond and was on the run the rest of his life) was never convicted, so how do we really know? I vote in Mahoning Cty, OH. Honoured to vote for Amy.

A thread on what seems to be a cover crop success story. The picture below is my neighbours field of sunn hemp in full flower.

The initial picture was from a neighbouring farm. My initial trial was noticed and is being adopted by others. I think this is great, even though at some level they are competitors. We are all in this together. What are your tips for crops you grow?

Finally, for non-farmer readers who get this far: this post should not be interpreted as a critique of conventional agriculture. My view is the most sustainable farming system employs both advanced technology with sound agronomic principles often associated with organic systems.

I voted online today for the first time. It took a couple minutes. We need this option for all elections. Well done @ws_townhall @iainlovattws
