Been hoarding a download of one of the biggest chunkiest fics in the fandom and finally got around to reading it because I’ve been sick for 5 days and I have some…thoughts.
I know I’m hitting a hornets nest rn but Idk where the idea that fic writers get less engagement and love comes from because when I finally buckled down to write fic I was shocked how much more engagement I got than my art.

you do know the end of every downloaded fic is this note. It links back to the original url. It’s not like people somehow are trying to circumvent giving you clicks and kudos and comments- the downloads are literally set up to encourage reader interaction.

If you want something closer to the real thing, there’s a free pattern on ravelry. Personally I’d modify this pattern to have a v-neck, but the colorwork guide seems fairly accurate
