your contributions to a crypto community can go beyond the number of tokens you hold.
think about people who spend months answering questions, helping newcomers and keeping discussions active.
they might not be the biggest holders, but they're still contributing to the ecosystem.
this is why @VelixoMarket's approach to its upcoming $VLX airdrop is worth discussing.
alongside Dino holders and Robinhood Chain NFT traders, the team has included Discord roles and engagement points among its eligibility categories.
and according to their latest update, snapshots for those Discord categories have already been taken.
the final eligibility details are still coming, so there's more to learn about how these contributions will be recognized.

the next big NFT marketplace might win users by making trading easier rather than launching another collection.
because collectors already have plenty of NFTs to choose from.
what they also need are useful ways to discover collections, compare prices, make offers and manage their assets.
that's the direction @VelixoMarket is exploring.
they started with NFT trading on Fogo and have now expanded to Robinhood Chain.
on Fogo, they've built collection analytics, rarity tools, an activity feed and optional gas-sponsored trading sessions.
on Robinhood Chain, users can buy, list, make offers and even gift NFTs directly to another wallet.
there are also plans to expand to more EVM networks.
the real test will be whether collectors find these tools useful enough to keep coming back.

4 million wash-trading transactions were identified by researchers from EPFL, ETH Zurich and Carnegie Mellon in their analysis of Pump(.)fun activity.
That's roughly 17% of all transactions examined.
It raises an important question: how do you reward genuine onchain activity instead of manufactured volume?
This is one detail that makes @zerufinance's zETH approach interesting.
According to Zeru's reward rules, wash trades score zero. Lending vault movements and activity on other chains are also excluded.
The goal is to reward qualifying Ethereum activity, not simply wallets generating more transactions.
It's a useful approach to building a fairer activity-based reward system.
Looking forward to seeing how the zETH race develops.

Europe’s banks, funds and treasuries are deciding how much capital to move onchain, and London is where a lot of those decisions get made.
The team will be on the ground at @blockworksDAS London next week, 10 to 11 November.
On the agenda: Meetings with allocators, treasuries, and exchanges putting capital into onchain credit.

539 wallets are now part of the $zETH activity race, and the leaderboard is beginning to show how participants are positioned.
What I find interesting is that this goes beyond simply counting who generates the most activity.
Zeru connects Ethereum onchain activity to two outcomes: a wallet’s position on the miner leaderboard and the amount of $zETH supply burned.
That raises an important question about how Ethereum history is being evaluated.
Does a wallet with years of consistent activity have an advantage over one with a shorter period of concentrated activity?
Do different types of onchain interactions carry different weight?
Zeru’s broader ActivityFi model focuses on the quality and consistency of wallet behaviour, not just raw volume. But the exact scoring weights are still worth watching as the race develops.
For me, understanding what drives the rankings is just as important as knowing who's currently at the top.
That’s what I'll be following as the $zETH activity race continues.

gm ct, happy new week ☕
sometimes, you have everything ready for an onchain move except the token you need to complete it.
that’s where @zerufinance integrating @ChangeNOW’s swap widget directly into Zaps comes in.
instead of leaving Zaps to find a separate swapping service, users can access token swaps within the same experience.
one less step between needing a token and getting it.
that’s what useful integrations should do: remove friction from the actions users already want to take.

This month’s SYRUP buyback is done.
$314,116 bought 1,371,166 SYRUP at an average price of $0.229.
That’s the 20% of September protocol revenue ($1.57M) allocated under MIP-021.
Buybacks follow MIP-021’s rules-based design. They are not a dividend, distribution, profit-share, or guaranteed return.

syrupUSDG is live on @arbitrum
Fintech adoption is moving onchain, and Arbitrum is one of the places it's landing. Eligible USDG holders there can now allocate to syrupUSDG, with yield from loans Maple underwrites and monitors for institutional borrowers.
Arbitrum gives it room to scale.
Not available in all jurisdictions. Yield is variable and not guaranteed. Capital at risk, including smart contract and bridge risk.

Maple's protocol revenue for September: $1.57M.
Up from $1.47M in August, five straight months of growth.
20% of it funds this month's SYRUP buyback under MIP-021, up from 10% last month.

crypto has a huge amount of onchain data.
every trade, transfer, protocol interaction and campaign participation leaves a record.
the shortage is in turning that raw data into useful context.
a wallet can show hundreds of transactions, but the transactions alone don't tell you much about the behavior behind them.
did the wallet consistently provide liquidity?
did it participate across different protocols?
did it stay active beyond a campaign?
did it build a history over time?
that is the problem @zerufinance is trying to address.
zScore turns wallet behavior into a reputation signal.
Zaps connect qualifying economic activity to campaigns, leaderboards and rewards.
Clans group wallet activity around communities and contributors.
the interesting part is that none of this starts with new data.
the activity already exists onchain.
the bigger challenge is turning that activity into context that people and protocols can actually use.
now check what your own wallet says about you.
connect your wallet and see your onchain score:
