#poster If something feels wrong online, pause and verify! Suspicious messages, unexpected links, and urgent threats to suspend your account may be signs of cyber scams. Verify the information through official channels, avoid clicking suspicious links, and report suspected cyber incidents promptly. Pause. Verify. Telangana Police is on top in adopting every latest technology that helps in swift Policing, crime prevention & investigation and this one is under the series of many such initiatives. Applauses to @TelanganaCOPs for the next level advancement 👏👏
Launched a series of digital initiatives for the CID. The first is the new Citizen Feedback Centre, which will gather feedback from citizens who have availed police station reception services, filed FIRs, undergone police verification for passport applications, or received spot e-Challans. Our team will contact citizens directly to assess service quality and police behaviour during their interactions. Any issues reported will be reviewed and followed up. We also launched a digital case management platform connecting all 35 Bharosa Centres, a new CID website, and technology-enabled systems to expedite fingerprint analysis and monitor repeat offenders. Five volumes of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) covering Bodily Offences, Property Offences, Crimes Against Women and Children, Special and Local Laws, and Other Offences were also released. Our focus is on ensuring that every citizen receives professional police services while equipping our personnel with the right tools, systems and guidance to deliver better outcomes.

🚨 Fake Debit Alert. Real Fraud Trap! Fraudsters send fake bank debit messages with “YES/NO” polls to create panic, then lure you into opening malicious links, installing apps or sharing banking details. ✅ Verify transactions through your bank’s official app. 🔒 Never share OTPs, PINs, CVV or passwords. 🚫 Block and report suspicious senders. A normal WhatsApp poll vote alone does not authorise a bank payment. Lost money? Contact your bank immediately, call 1930 and report at cybercrime.gov.in. #HyderabadCityPolice #CyberAwareness #WhatsAppScam #StayCyberSafe
