The accompanying review states that while all the 5 volumes in the @ucpress’s “People’s Guide” series are “excellent” and “deliberately provocative,” APGTOC is the “most poignant. In no other volume do received history and the ‘people's history’ diverge quite so dramatically.”
Dr. @adamgolub work examines how doppelgängers have evolved since they first joined the “American monster mash” scene in the early 19th century.
