It has become increasingly clear over the past 24 hours that the latest assault on the Srebrenica Memorial Center was instigated and coordinated by the highest-ranking Bosnian Serb officials. Both the Bosnian Serb member of the Presidency @Cvijanovic_Z and the state Minister of Finance Srđan Amidžić have publicly intervened, using virtually identical talking points, leaving no room for doubt about political nature of the assault on @SrebrenicaMC. Moreover, the Finance Minister has gone further, demonstrating that he was familiar with details of the so-called investigation that no politician should have access to if this were a legitimate police investigation.
This is what genocide 2.0 looks like.

Once again, Bosnian Serb Presidency member @Cvijanovic_Z effectively confirms that the latest assault on @SrebrenicaMC is a campaign of political persecution and intimidation targeting both the Memorial Center and the Bosniak community in Srebrenica as such. She is not a bystander: she is one of its instigators, seeking political gain through genocide denial, hate, and systematic discrimination against non-Serbs.

Actually at the time I called it a ‘terrorist atrocity’ and ‘horrific attack.’ But these people are so gripped by hatred of Muslims, so deranged, so bigoted, so unhinged, that they’ll lie and fear-monger about anything to do with Islam or Muslims.
Gad Saad blamed Islam for his family’s plight; the same people mad at me for my snarky response to his bigotry would never be okay with a Palestinian refugee blaming Judaism for his plight. The hypocrisy, alongside the bigotry, is brazen.

U posljednja 24 sata je postalo jasno da su najviši zvaničnici SNSD-a, poput @Cvijanovic_Z i Srđan Amidžić uključeni i da međusobno koordiniraju posljednji napad na @SrebrenicaMC. Štaviše, Amidžić je javno objelodanio detalje iz istrage - naime, izjavio je da zna ko je prijavitelj - kojima kada bi ovo bila legitimna istraga ne bi smio imati pristup. Ovim putem pozivam ga da objelodani identitet prijavitelja, jer i mi - uključujući i 26 nevinih građana Srebrenice - imamo pravo da znamo ko nas optužuje i za šta.

My judgment is that this legislation has considerable potential for third graders, but it will accomplish disappointingly little if implementation becomes another exercise in endlessly drilling phonics and calling the resulting gains in word recognition “reading.” Yes….we all know the realities in the classroom. A third grader who can flawlessly decode a paragraph about, let’s say, photosynthesis but lacks the vocabulary and scientific knowledge necessary to understand it is not a proficient reader of that paragraph. Comprehension combines skills from both left and right brain. The real test of this bill will be whether schools use the science of reading as the legislation actually defines it, including knowledge, language, vocabulary, writing, and comprehension, rather than allowing “science of reading” to become a politically fashionable synonym for phonics. This legislation will also compel curriculum makers to adjust scope and sequence of material. As it stands right now, nearly all curriculum makers are in haste to finish the sprint line as opposed to jog it….aligning to/with students’ pace and mastery. I liken curriculum makers to people who run the red traffic light. They always speed up as they approach the red light! Which one of us has ever said to ourselves “that’s a genius?!” No one. Yet we do it to kids and teachers. Why? We shall see!

I ovih dana, a i u brojnim ranijim povodima, najmiješnije mi je kad medijski organi @MiloradDodik pretenduju da budu tretirani kao legitimni mediji, kad svi znamo da su ateveovi, erteeresovi, srne i druga medijska divljač najobičnija služinčad na vrlo kratkom povocu. I da me ne bi zvali i subotom ujutro, evo da odgovorim: izjave ponekad dajem medijima, medijskim organima nikad. Četničkim medijskim organima baš nikad.
