I've spoken with Mayor Doug Lawson of Riviera Beach this morning. Palm Beach County has an active emergency with Riviera Beach and surrounding communities experiencing severe flooding, displaced families, impassable roads, and significant impacts to critical infrastructure. Governor DeSantis has rightly declared a state of emergency in seven Florida counties. I encourage the Governor to include Palm Beach County as well.
