Putin is a murderer and needs to be treated as such by the US. Kissing up to him is pathetic.
🇺🇦 🇷🇺 Zelensky on the Witkoff paper Putin got: no neutrality, no cap on the army, and "we are not exchanging anything for anything," as Medvedev tells Trump to have the CIA "deal with" him Volodymyr Zelensky used a Sunday night television interview to tell Washington what Kyiv will not sign. Asked by Alla Mazur of TSN's weekly show about the document US envoy Steve Witkoff carried to Vladimir Putin after the Oslo talks, Zelensky said it contains "various" American proposals, including on Ukraine's security. Two items are off the table, he said: neutrality and limits on the size of Ukraine's army. "Our security guarantees are our security guarantees, they cannot be dictated by the Russian side," he said. He was blunt about land. "The Americans have long been raising the issue of exchanging territories; they call it land swaps," Zelensky said. "We are not exchanging anything for anything. We are ready for discussion. If it is a territorial issue, then it should be handled at the leaders' level. Other issues should be handled at the level of technical groups." He said all of it can be discussed in November, when US, Ukrainian and Russian teams are expected to meet, possibly in Abu Dhabi. UATV reports he wants that round to produce an energy truce or a Black Sea ceasefire, safe grain exports and an all-for-all prisoner exchange, and that he does not want all sanctions on Russia lifted before a leaders' meeting. He also put Ukraine's 2027 funding need at 115 billion euros. Moscow's tone was harsher. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council and a former president, posted on the Russian platform Max that Trump should summon "the secretary of war and the CIA director" and have them resolve the Zelensky problem, adding that "the method, place, and means do not matter". The Daily Mail renders the line as "take care of this 'unfortunate little problem.'" Medvedev, who has no authority over US agencies, called Zelensky a "parasite" and claimed he harms Trump's interests more than Venezuela, Cuba and Iran combined. Earlier Sunday, Putin aide Yuri Ushakov told state TV that Moscow is ready to return to three-way talks after Russia's Nov. 4 holiday, calling the first meeting a "trial run," the Kyiv Independent reported. The interview is the clearest public account yet of where the Witkoff track snags. Washington keeps floating land swaps, Kyiv says only presidents can trade territory, and Moscow wants a deal it can close with Trump directly. Zelensky's ask for November is narrow and concrete: energy, the Black Sea, grain and prisoners. Medvedev's post shows how hard the Kremlin is working to drive a wedge between Trump and Zelensky in the weeks before the midterms and the talks. 📹 @Gianl1974

Wankers
Kim is an excellent choice to head the government transition team. I was privileged to work with her as a new MLA/Cabinet Minister. My experience was that she built strong BC Public Service team while also understanding the importance of supporting the Executive Team.

Kim is a highly skilled professional that would serve any political party very well. After all Premier Horgan made Don Wright a conservative his head of the PS.

Lorne Doerkson would do well to keep those associated with Christy Clark away from his office. He is untouchable for now but the enemy within is power hungry and impatient.

Well I watched from the outside. I also personally know quite a few of the conservative team. I’m betting on them to come through for BC.

I am not cynical. I watched the takeover close-up.

Not likely
Don't worry, folks. SOGI, Safe Supply and vaxx mandates will be renamed by the BC Liberals who now control the BC Tories. Nothing to panic about. The One Party-Three Factions System will continue. stuartparkersblog.substack.c…

It’s landing all right as thousands of Cdns move to the US EVERY SINGLE MONTH.
A Trump adviser's outburst and a new poll suggest Canada’s tariff strategy is landing

75 execs making $Ms in Health Region bureaucracy. Low hanging fruit!
Tommy Douglas gave us our universal #Healthcare BCConservatives cutting $2billion a year will decimate our healthcare. Even a kindergarten kid understands this. Let us not go backwards. Vote @bcndp

How many have left?
More doctors than ever before are calling Manitoba home. In fact, 137 new recruited doctors are calling our great province home. 🦬 That means better health care with more than 370 new doctors. Fixing healthcare…together.

Don’t need to watch to know that
I challenge anyone to watch this and then be able to vote for any OneBC candidate for MLA in the BC election - regardless of whether Dallas Brodie is trying to be ironic, sarcastic or whatever, it is simply offensive! 🦇💩🤪 #bcpoli #vanpoli

Green grifters lined their pockets at our expense. Been going on for literally decades now.

Well they work, don’t want to kill anyone and they don’t protest and burn things down so there are those things to consider.
Rep. Jamie Raskin denounces Elon Musk as an "immigrant who never really inhaled the real values of our country" "They’ve redesigned the whole asylum regime around him because they want white Afrikaners, who are basically unreconstructed racists, to come over to our country."

I would be very happy to have a US trade deal and I totally support Cdn govt efforts to get this done.
Janice Charette laying the groundwork for Carney's capitulation on a 🇺🇸 trade deal. 📅 The last 2 years were all for nothing. 💰 The $40B spent keeping sectors alive. 📉 The shredded businesses, lost jobs, stunted investment, economic damage, broken relationships. 🧠 Everyone who wasn't captured by the Liberal patriotic chest-puffing knew this was inevitable. 🙄 Carney will claim victory, that language & sovereignty were respected. And the Liberal sheep will go BAAAA.

Piss off. Fortunately seniors still have a disabled vote presence and they can pound sand.
NOTE: In the 2017 BC election Green Party's housing platform that included a proposal to tax lifetime capital gains in excess of $750,000 on principal residences. In 2020 CMHC financed a $250,000 study by Generation Squeeze to look into taxing primary residences. The final report recommended a progressive surtax on primary residences valued over $1 million. Good bet it will happen in Vancouver under a far left council.
