Reverse the roles. Imagine the Conservatives suffered a crushing defeat and then gave a speech proposing that their remaining party strength would be focused on fighting against the "whole existence" of the victorious party?
So what you are saying is that if someone does something to a group, let’s say sends kids residential school, to try and suppress their culture it is ”genocide”?

Look at this fat fag… buddy, if she had said “fuck the conservatives” no one would have cared… but that’s not what she said. She made a genocidal statement against conservatives. Totally different thing you fool.
DRIPA lets you go to court to get a declaration the government wasn’t doing a good job on UNDRIP. S.35 lets you strike legislation, DRIPA did not.
BC Conservatives. You won 70% of the seats and you are whining because a 26 year old Green MLA doesn’t like your party and is scared for the future. We all benefit from distinct voices. Prove her wrong. But stop acting like you are some persecuted group.
Congratulations @HeatherMaahs on your re-election. Please take your win with humility. People voted for jobs and security. Leave the kids, teachers and schools alone. We have great Christian schools here for parents who keep their kids off the internet.
Is the NDP going to make @G_Anderson1 their next leader or can CentreBC have him?
Obama is great. Evil empire!

Obama: "That well-known evil empire Canada. That historical adversary of ours. Canada! *laughs* It's your neighbor. It's a few minutes' drive over the bridge! These are the people who gave us Martin Short and maple syrup. They are the nicest people! And someone we've gotten them so mad."
I’m running for CentreBC. 60 years ago, my great uncle Bert Leboe was a Social Credit MP, and decades ahead of his time on the need for reconciliation.

I know most voters are not on X. But it is a bit surreal running against someone that the entire world seems to think is unfit.
Two things can be true. Candidates should know answers. And MLAs are told what to say. Neither is good for our democracy.
Loyal, Loyal, Loyal! 😂
If you don’t know the answer to a question, just admit it.
But having your campaign manager text you answers throughout the Kelowna debate? That’s not debating. That’s a group project with one person doing all the homework.
If you need someone feeding you answers just to get through a candidates’ debate, what exactly are you going to do when you’re sitting in the Legislature?
The voters are electing an MLA, not a Bluetooth speaker for the campaign manager. 😂

Stop it. People make mistakes. But you are defending blackface in 2026. @LDoerkson - how far is too far.
Disgusting, if this is true, SpaceX better be faced with a huge law suit and bans on their tech. And people say we should be worried about Chinese EVs,
EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.
I’m not a conservative. But it sounds like he was trying to cite the SCC’s Haida/Metis decisions that stated “Aboriginal Persons were here first and never conquered” and got cut off. The focus should be on Maahs, Bhabgu who voted to ban land acknowledgements.
The Conservative fear-mongering must stop. DRIPA isn’t an existential threat, the Interpretation Act amendments create a nuisance for the legal system having to make toothless declarations, but DRIPA, unlike s.35, gives courts no authority.

@elenoresturko is one of the bravest people with the most integrity.
She could have sat there in the conservative caucus and bided her time, knowing that if she kept her mouth closed and head down, that she’d just keep getting re-elected because of the word “conservative” and the strong (wrong) association voters have with that brand.
She didn’t do that.
She fought the wrongdoing, the injustice, stood up for what was right, knowing the price she’d pay would be high. As she says in this clip, she did it to set an example for her kids and stay in her integrity.
Elenore is the best of us.

Unlike the Chilliwack debate you did not attend, you would have to SHOW UP in court.
What’s immoral is that @elenoresturko is lying.
This is a false and defamatory statement. @Aaronpete_
I hate this. I’m running, and my spouse and kids support me, but aren’t political. Keep families out of it, unless they choose to be political.
