During #AUSA DTA co-hosted a discussion with Capstone and @pillsburylaw that explored Army priorities on budget, procurement, and more. DTA also partnered with @CetSandbox, Mission Cultivate, and @FDD’s National Security Network to host a panel where DTA Exec Dir @daniel_flesch discussed the operational and tactical challenges for Israeli founders entering the US market.

DTA Chairman @rich_goldberg tells @TimesofIsrael that an AUKUS-style framework could unlock deeper U.S.-Israel defense technology cooperation—allowing Israeli innovation to scale through American industry:
“You can move from the startup nation to the scale-up nation very quickly if you have the regulatory framework for that.”
A deeper 🇺🇸🇮🇱 partnership would be more than an investment in Israeli security. It would also be an investment in American manufacturing, American jobs, and American military capabilities.

Hamas is evil. Hezbollah is evil. The Houthis are evil. The regime in Iran is evil.
If October 7 didn’t give you moral clarity, you’re morally bankrupt.
You don’t have to agree with every decision made by the U.S. or Israel to recognize a basic truth: free nations must defend themselves against enemies who seek their destruction.
October 7 revealed who is brave and who is cowardly. Who will defend us from the Islamist barbarians at the gate and who will make common cause with them.
Going through a lot of effort and government resources to identify and combat antisemitism in NYC when all @NYCMayor has to do is look in the mirror.
The Talmud teaches that anyone who sustains one soul, has sustained an entire world. For generations, Jewish New Yorkers have sustained our city. Today, we are launching the first-ever municipal Strategy to Combat Antisemitism.
Together, we will ensure Jewish New Yorkers are safe and celebrated. We will invest in their protection, their history, and their future.
Our safety and our thriving are tied together.

Today we officially designated the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR and Antifa as terrorist organizations per the anti-sharia law signed earlier this year.

As a former NYPD lieutenant, I’ll give you the inside scoop on these protests:
Cops hate them. No one wants to work these details. You actively try to avoid the desk in order to not be notified of these.
You get to the detail and usually the “Free Palestine” crowd is on one side of the street and the pro-Israel side is on the other. You then spend the next couple hours trying to stop the “Free Palestine” crowd from physically attacking the pro-Israel crowd.
After that, the “Free Palestine” crowd will march and shut down traffic. Along the way, they’ll disrupt sidewalk cafes, random passersby, and anyone who they think might be Jewish.
Then they’ll find a place to stop, where they’ll harass cops, take their names and shield numbers, and threaten to doxx them. They’ll even pick fights with cops and do things so the cops will be forced to move in and arrest them. That’s where they’ll film their infamous YouTube videos highlighting “police brutality.” Mind you, the cops have been actively trying to protect them the entire time, but propaganda is needed.
After a 15 hour day, the cops are finally cut loose, waiting for the impending CCRB accusations.
… and everyone wonders why recruitment and retainment are down.

Six hours before the Jewish Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, Netanel Shukrun, a father of six, was killed when a terrorist opened fire on his car. Netanel used his last seconds of life to tell his son to run. An hour later, a terrorist tried to ram soldiers at a checkpoint. An hour after that, an Israeli who took a wrong turn into a village in the Hebron Hills was attacked and wounded. Forty minutes later, another attempted ramming targeted Israeli troops. Ten minutes after that, a vehicle with no license plates tried to run down two Israelis. Simply another average day in Judea and Samaria.
And people wonder why Israelis tire of the endless accusations of settler violence.
By August 11, the Foreign Ministry had counted 896 Palestinian terror attacks in Judea and Samaria since the start of 2026, with four Israelis murdered and 119 wounded. Over the first half of the year, the security establishment recorded 660 incidents of Jewish nationalist crime, in which six Palestinians were killed and 140 wounded. For the first time, the two columns look almost the same size, but only if you leave out the attacks that would have happened: in 2025 alone, the Shin Bet foiled 1,374 significant attacks, 717 of them shootings and 630 bombings.
Statistics do not justify violence, and this government’s loss of control over the territory is a case of criminal negligence and moral indifference. But for all the talk of how settler violence radicalizes Palestinians, you might expect someone to spare a word for the Palestinian violence that radicalized the settlers.
I do not expect Netanel Shukrun’s name to travel far. No matter how often Israelis point out that Jews in Judea and Samaria are in greater danger than Palestinians, sympathy only flows one way. The international press has settled on a story about the region, and a father murdered on his way home from a swim with his son is not part of it. If the killing is noticed at all, expect a long paragraph on settler violence. The implication, never stated outright, is that people like Netanel brought it on themselves.
So it is worth asking plainly: what did Netanel Shukrun do to deserve death? Was it the swim, or that ancient offense of being a Jew in the wrong place?
The liturgy of Yom Kippur is preoccupied with death. For 25 hours, Jews argue their case before God. They admit to arrogance, stubbornness and baseless hatred, and ask to be absolved and inscribed in the book of life for the coming year. Netanel Shukrun will not get a hearing. In the eyes of the world, he was sealed in the book of death for one unforgivable sin: he lived on the wrong side of the line.
Stop meeting with people/organizations that are waging an informational war against you. Fight them instead. Wage a campaign that drives New York Magazine out of business. That should be the response from JIMENA and NY Jews.
Sephardic and Mizrahi groups led by JIMENA accuse New York Magazine of erasing Middle Eastern Jews.

@Exner_Garrett is spot on here on @KatiePavlichNN: to counter the rapidly evolving drone, the US should be developing strategic partnerships with allies such as Israel and Ukraine to learn from them to develop new technology. "We need that" 🎯
WATCH: @Exner_Garrett and @JustinFulcher join Katie to discuss the importance of America pursuing "drone dominance" - both on the battlefield and to defend the homeland against new and emerging threats from Iranian and Russian drones.
Israel standing (not) alone
🇮🇱🇨🇱🇭🇳 Chile and Honduras have returned their ambassadors to Israel for the first time since October 7.
The development came as President Isaac Herzog received the credentials of six new ambassadors, including the ambassadors of Chile, Honduras, Germany, Sri Lanka, Georgia, and Nigeria.

Important perspective on @RahmEmanuel’s recent public statements regarding Israel. In short - his perspective and talking points are misinformed and two-dimensional. Reads more like someone trying to navigate a political path in a party that has been taken over by extremists rather than someone who truly understands Israel and the bilateral relationship.
Sacrificing the US-Israel relationship on the alter of woke politics
Today over 100 Democrats voted for the Massie Amendment to zero aid to Israel. My brother @RepBowman & @CoriBush lost their seats for this stand 2 years ago. As a colleague told me, Black martyrdom is normalized in America. Today I want to recognize their courage.
