What they're concerned about in Washington is that France can become the first Islamic state with nukes. You have a mass migration from France trying to get into England.
Because France cut off their social benefits. They're running over trying to get into England, crossing the channel, because England is still giving them free money. These aren't people that are interested in a career or assimulating.
They're there to get whatever they can.

My call many moons ago was that the 10Y yield above 4.8% would pick up speed. Yup: 4.782 on 9/1 was in fact the trigger for a rate of change increase that timed with massive breadth destruction under the surface and selling in all things not AI.
Now? We are hitting 5.316% noted resistance = softness into ~5.1% (bond & equity bull's best case) before we base and likely head back above 5.316 to 6.41% next year.
Where am I wrong?
10Y US yield gets/stays below 4.7% then 4.33 then 3.9.
Otherwise, higher for longer until NDX breaks.
