This is why he must go. We have service members in combat right now and all the SecDef cares about is his own political survival. Our military deserves leaders that put them first. Hegseth has always only cared about his own image and political agenda. This isn’t a game. It’s life and death. He must be investigated and removed. @WellmanForMO
“Pete is focused on three things: survival, survival, and survival,” said a U.S. official. “He wants to survive long enough where he can leave on his own terms… He wants to survive to preserve a political future.” @JackDetsch @dlippman politico.com/news/2026/11/06…

My deepest condolences to Congressman-elect @Ojeda4America. I cried when I saw this video. For those of us who have lost family to Parkinson’s, we know how cruel the disease is. But Richard Neece Ojeda fought the disease and made sure he was there for his son. May he RIP.
For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.” This morning, he passed away. A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress. He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me. Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️

To remind the new Congress, Trump and Hegseth are guilty of the extrajuditial killing of drug-runners and of premeditated murder of survivors at sea...as proven by a long list of historical case law. Please reestablish our collective legitimacy in int'l affairs.

Republicans: "I can't believe that Dave Chappelle said this about Charlie Kirk's death. He must really be a horrible person and should be cancelled..." Also Republicans:
Republicans are melting down over this… Dave Chappelle : “Ever since that guy Charlie Kirk got murdered, and I shouldn’t say this publicly but…. I feel better.” I thought that comedians were able to say whatever they wanted since they were comedians. That’s what you all told me when Roseanne Barr and Tony Hinchcliffe said racist crap.

OMG… ICE IS EVIL
UNFORGIVEABLE: A Minnesota doctor just revealed Renée Good still had a pulse 8 minutes after she was shot by an ICE agent. A physician on scene offered to administer aid and was denied. In any courtroom, preventing medical aid after using deadly force isn’t just cruel, it’s an aggravating factor.

It's encouraging to see some disconnect from the grifting RW influencers on X and their followers. I've seen Gunther, Bill Mitchell (an idiot), Sassafrass, and SaltyGoat (one of the worst) all get chastised BY THEIR FOLLOWERS for trying to start a dialogue on rigged voting. I don't want to overstate this, but I do think we've reached a limitation for some of MAGA - finally - as to how much gaslighting they will soak up willingly like a dry thirsty sponge. And maybe-just maybe - they're rediscovering reasoned thought and remembering why brains of humans like them, evolved to contain a cerebral cortex.

🚨 GOVERNOR GINA HINOJOSA GIVES ELON MUSK UNTIL DECEMBER TO PAY ALL OUTSTANDING TAXES OWED IN TEXAS OR FACE SERIOUS LEGAL CONSEQUENCES. Texas Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa has reportedly issued a December deadline to Elon Musk, demanding that Tesla and his other companies operating in Texas fully comply with applicable state tax obligations or face potential legal and regulatory action. The development could open another major political confrontation between the Democrats and Republicans, particularly as Donald Trump and several Republican allies have maintained close political ties with Elon Musk. Hinojosa, a Democrat, is making it clear that her incoming administration will not give special treatment to billionaires or major corporations. She reportedly wants Tesla and other Musk-owned businesses to meet their tax responsibilities rather than benefit from political connections. The situation could further intensify the growing divide between Democrats and Republicans, with Trump’s relationship with Musk potentially becoming another talking point in the battle over corporate taxation, economic policy and political influence in Texas. The controversy also raises questions about the future of Tesla’s operations in Texas, considering the company’s significant manufacturing presence in the state. Any proposed changes to corporate taxation could have implications for Tesla’s business plans, investment decisions and relationship with the incoming Democratic administration. Meanwhile, Republicans close to Donald Trump could find themselves under pressure to respond, especially given Musk’s public support for Trump and his involvement in Republican political circles. Democrats, on the other hand, could use the controversy to reignite discussions about billionaire wealth, corporate accountability and whether major companies should receive preferential treatment. With December approaching, all eyes would be on Elon Musk, Tesla, Donald Trump and the Republican leadership to see how they respond to the proposed ultimatum.
