There is a 0.0296% chance that your child will become a professional athlete.
There is a 0.0086% chance that your child will become a famous celebrity.

Why do two white men shoot a black man jogging? I don’t know.
Why does an abusive husband beat his wife and kids? I don’t know.
Why does a mother abort her child to pursue a career? I don’t know.
But I do know, only Jesus can change depraved wicked hearts.
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
Or the Lord will see it and be displeased,
And turn His anger away from him.

It seems that the central message of many young Christian influencers is that God loves us because we are deserving of love. No! The beauty and power of the gospel—the very essence of it—is that while we were unlovable, undeserving and unrepentant, Christ died for us.
