Tokenized gold volumes broke out of historically weak correlation to traditional gold markets in Q2 2025. They spiked into strong correlation territory and remained there through Q1 2026.
What that transition actually means:
- Tokenized gold stopped trading like a crypto asset backed by gold.
- It started trading like gold that happens to settle on blockchain.
- The capital base changed. The behavior changed. The stickiness changed.
That same transition is now beginning for silver. It will happen for copper. For platinum. Each time it does, the market that results is larger and more institutionally credible.

After spending more than 3+ years in DeFi, one pattern becomes clear to me that usually we forced to choose between stability and growth.
Very few systems are designed to deliver both in a structured way.
