A remarkable phenomenon is drawing the attention of the faithful in Italy.
It happened at Santa Maria delle Grazie (Our Lady of Grace) parish in the small town of Casalba, Italy.
According to EWTN News, a statue of St. Padre Pio in a parish has reportedly begun shedding what appears to be tears of blood. The parish priest who witnessed the event believes it to be authentic and of supernatural origin.
However, as is standard practice with such reported signs, the local Church authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation to discern its nature. This reported weeping is said to involve visible red tears flowing from the eyes of the statue, evoking the deep suffering and compassion of Padre Pio, who himself bore the wounds of Christ. Many devotees see it as a heavenly call to repentance, prayer, and reparation in our difficult times.
