The main catalyst for privacy becoming a trillion dollar asset class is by becoming quantum-secure money while maintaining the basic functions needed to meet the demands of the crypto consumer. This is my ultimate case for why Umbra is generationally undervalued, right here and now.
Umbra is crypto-agile by design. Every primitive sits behind a versioned suite with its own identifier, so moving to a post-quantum scheme is a planned upgrade, not a redesign. Umbra doesn't need to wait for the threat of quantum to show up before it becomes quantum-secure. Most of the move is already done and the rest is a short step away.
Anything that has to stay safe for years is post-quantum today on Umbra. Anything that only has to hold up for the next few years can be replaced quickly, and will be replaced quickly here soon.
Two variables that make the case for Umbra as undervalued privacy infrastructure:
1. Post-quantum privacy protocols will become extremely valuable as the threat of quantum continues to increase.
2. Umbra is prepared for post-quantum, today.
The hybrid investor-consumer in crypto needs safe custody of their assets, and the ability to use any and all DeFi primitives with those assets. Umbra is the only privacy protocol that meets both demands.
not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.
I don’t want Elon’s flying car.
I want clean, swimmable, drinkable rivers.
I want thriving, diverse ecosystems.
I want a stable climate.
I want healthy communities.
I want institutions that look beyond the next three years.
i find it significant that the sorting hat at hogwarts takes into consideration which house the student wants/doesn’t want to be in it’s like saying life listens to your thoughts and your desires can drastically shape where you end up
I refuse to build a life where the best parts only happen on vacation.
I want beautiful mornings. Excellent coffee. Interesting conversations. Work I enjoy. Time to wander.

see you in Mumbai. we’re so back @SuperteamIN
Never really understood why Augustine and Aquinas considered curiositas (“curiosity”) a sin until I realized how often people encourage you to do something you’re unsure of not because they want the best for you but because they want to see what happens

.@NimbusPrivacy is the multi-chain ZK privacy network behind @UmbraPrivacy V2.
Its three guardian nodes run in enclaves on Turnkey Verifiable Cloud (TVC), so no operator can see viewing keys and anyone can verify the code onchain.
Private finance, secured by Turnkey.
