Sir Patrick Stewart recounts the time he unexpectedly met Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr at a restaurant. A story involving three British legends thatโs worth hearing.

Since the beginning of Trumpโs second term, American democracy has been unwound at frightening speed.
Analysis by the V-Dem Institute shows the rate of democratic backsliding in the US is faster than we saw in Hungary, India, Russia, or Serbia.
And if we donโt take urgent action it could happen here too

There are away days.
There are Scottish Cup away days.
And then there is Brora away.
This Saturday, the Blue Brazil head north for what promises to be a proper Scottish Cup adventure as we face Brora Rangers in the Second Round of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.
For those traveling from Cowdenbeath, you are looking at roughly a 400 mile round trip, so nobody can accuse the Blue Brazil support of taking the easy option this weekend.
Planes, Trains and... Supporters Buses
The Wee Jimmies Cowdenbeath Supporters Club are taking a bus north. (What happens on the supporters bus...stays on the supporters bus)
Others are making the journey by car. (Richie, Neil, Brian, Aira to name a few)
Ozzy dog will be wearing his winter fleece in Cowden Blue ofc with the car heating turned to max.
Some are going by train. (James Hannigan and a few others we heard)
And knowing Cowden supporters, there will almost certainly be somebody appearing in Brora having traveled from somewhere completely unexpected. (Brian Mecseri are you flying in unannounced to Wick John O'Groats Airport?)
So we want to hear from you.
๐ Where are you travelling from?
๐ How many miles are you clocking up?
๐ธ Send us your road trip pictures
๐ Tag the club in your journey
Letโs find out who earns the completely unofficial title of Longest Distance Blue Brazilian this weekend.
Bonus points may be awarded for questionable service station breakfasts, Cowden scarves appearing in strange locations and supporters looking far too cheerful before sunrise.
๐ง๏ธ Pack the Waterproofs...
Because naturally, we have landed a Scottish Cup trip to the Highlands at the end of October.
The current Met Office forecast for Brora is for a cloudy start before rain spreads east later in the morning, heavy at times, with strengthening winds and the possibility of gales or severe gales later in the day. Temperatures are expected to reach around 9ยฐC.
In other words:
Shorts weather if you are from Fife. (We see you Simo)
Probably still worth taking a jacket though.
There are also weather warnings affecting parts of Scotland over the weekend, so please keep an eye on the latest forecast before and during your journey.
๐ A9 Travel Update
For those driving north, there have been several sets of works on the A9 this week.
The good news is that the planned works at the Pass of Drumochter are currently scheduled to finish by 6.00am on Saturday, while resurfacing and drainage works between Aberuthven and Crossgates are due to have traffic management removed by around 6.30am.
There are also works around Chapelbank scheduled to finish by 6.00am on Saturday.
However, with the weather forecast and a long journey ahead, we strongly recommend checking Traffic Scotland before leaving and allowing a little extra time.
Nobody wants their Scottish Cup story to begin with:
โWell, we missed the first half somewhere near Dalwhinnie...โ
๐ The Road to Hampden Starts With a Very Long Road to Brora
That is the magic of the Scottish Cup.
Different grounds. Different journeys. Different stories.
And the occasional alarm clock going off at a time no reasonable human being should associate with football.
Brora Rangers will provide a tough challenge, but this is cup football and the traveling Blue Brazil support will make sure the players know they are not making the journey alone.
Whether you are on the supporters bus, in the car, traveling by rail or arriving from somewhere even further afield, we hope you have a brilliant day.
๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฒ, look after each other and make plenty of noise when you get there.
๐ธ Show Us Your Journey
We would love to follow the Blue Brazil support all the way north.
Post your photos and videos from the road, stations, service stops and wherever else you find yourselves.
๐ Tag Cowdenbeath FC
๐ Tell us where you are traveling from
๐ Let us know your mileage
Letโs turn Saturday into a proper Blue Brazil road trip.
๐ Safe travels to every Blue Brazilian making the journey. See you in Brora.
And remember...
The Scottish Cup dream is free. The petrol unfortunately is not.

This guy utterly dismantles the populist politics of Reform and Restore in 90 seconds. Itโs actually quite beautiful.
Take decades of deep-rooted problems in Britain and convince people that a relatively tiny proportion of the population is responsible for all of them. Housing, the NHS, crime. Blame illegal migrants for everything.
Suddenly, you donโt need credible solutions to the housing crisis, NHS waiting lists or crime. You just need increasingly extreme policies on immigration.
And by the time people realise you never had meaningful answers to the vast majority of Britainโs problems, youโre already in power, handing out tax cuts to your donors.

โFade to Greyโ is Visage's breakthrough single, released in 1980. Written by Billy Currie, Chris Payne, and Midge Ure, with English lyrics by Steve Strange, the synth-pop classic became one of the defining songs of the New Romantic movement. It reached #8 on the UK Singles Chart, #1 in Germany and Switzerland, #2 in Belgium and the Top 10 across much of Europe.
The song's distinctive bilingual vocals (English by Steve Strange and French by Brigitte Arens) helped give it its mysterious, cosmopolitan atmosphere. Although it was Visage's only major international hit, "Fade to Grey" became hugely influential on synth-pop and electronic music, inspiring countless artists and remaining one of the most iconic tracks of the early 1980s.

Donโt forget the real stories:
Nigel Farage broke parliamentary standards failing to declare a ยฃ5 mil bribe.
Then he got caught on camera plotting to break electoral law.
He lied about his Clacton house and its stamp duty,
He got caught with an offshore bank account and has a special company to avoid tax.
He failed to declare 17 streams of income breaking parliamentary code.
He has about 14 jobs and never turns up to Parliament.
Donโt get distracted. If he gets away with it, democracy is dead.
