The NYPD received 9,645 ICE detainer requests between July 2025 and June 2026, but honored none of them.
These were criminals who were already arrested.
All they had to do was hold them for ICE, but they chose to release them instead.

Glad things have gone well this year. ID was still fun honestly I think the negative people online are being dramatic about it. Some mesh with it and some don’t and that’s fine. My advice to those who are leaving ID now is enjoy yourself and don’t die✌️
