Gaza endured major Israeli offensives in 2008–09, 2012, 2014 and 2021. Palestinian families in the West Bank knew occupation, displacement and loss long before October 2023.
Our homes, villages and history predate the State of Israel. You cannot erase generations of Palestinian suffering to pretend it all began on a date that suits your argument.
I am speaking about my family and civilians. You do not get to bury us beneath the rubble, then bury our history beneath your excuses.
I caught myself watching this video over and over for several minutes, unable to look away.
