One of my favorite players to ever coach. Fearless. Selfless. Ownership. Everything you want a leader to be.
@TravisHoopes22 should have been 6A First Team! 🤦🏾♂️ @FHS_PHOEN1X

Afu Fiefia, an extraordinary 18 year old with a heart full of kindness and unmatched work ethic, is facing the unimaginable: the return of cancer. We can help ease the financial burden. We love you Afu and the Fiefia Family. @AfuFiefia @d_fiefia

This stat is incredible.
“Dragging them into the deep end”- Coach Chris Petersen knows what @Utah_Football is all about.
How you do anything is how you everything.

INTEGRITY IS NOT SITUATIONAL
After a heated loss in '21-'22, soph. Jamal Shead cleaned up the mess his teammates caused. 2 years later he was Big 12 P.O.Y on nation's #1 team.
How you do anything is how you do everything.

I frequently have athletes who push back on lifting with the program. Their top reason: “but coach I lift by myself”. Great, when you only need yourself to win, then I guess that’s a fine excuse. Lifting as a program is more than just improving your individual strength/athleticism…it’s about the culture, mentality, and bonding you build as a team. Those intangibles can separates teams when it counts and you can’t build those things all by yourself.
Cody & Freddie!!!!
Excited to announce my first hire to the Clearfield Falcons coaching staff. Introducing our Offensive Coordinator, you may have heard of him….@CoachFredF

Winning football games requires 50-70 snaps a game of acute focus by all 11 individuals at a time, with maximum effort and strain, & utilizing proper technique and fundamentals a good % of those snaps… that’s why only some are crowned Champion every year! #ItTakesWhatItTakes

One of the most refreshing sports conversations I’ve heard in a long time:
• Building people not just players
• The loneliness among elite competitors
• How deep the bond is between brothers
100% truth… @FHS_PHOEN1X Love the process and one day it will love you back!
"We wait for stuff to get easier.
It will never get easier.
What happens is you becomes someone that handles hard better.
So, make yourself a person that handles hard well. Not someone that's waiting for the easy."

Some solid ball being played in this state. When I came out in 1996 there were like 5 of us that went D1 (and almost all of us stayed in-state), now there are TEAMS that have 5 kids going D1. Incredible to see the explosion of talent.

“I always thought to be an O-Line coach was fantastic… every practice is great because there’s gonna be some level of violence and getting after somebody...”
RIP Mike Leach 🙁
👀👀👀 the Torque by Landon Dickerson is perfectly timed with Kelce’s strike… couple baaaad dudes right there.
Preach! Players will raise to the expectations placed on them & eventually raise the standard even higher. One day, you will look back and realize that those that pushed you the hardest, cared the most. @FHS_PHOEN1X
