Introducing E2B Embed: it brings AI agent sandboxes directly into your product and run them on infrastructure you control.
E2B Embed packages the full E2B stack on a single node, giving you the flexibility to deploy in your own environment or a customer’s. Open source under Apache 2.0, it supports Docker Compose, Terraform on GCP, and Kubernetes. All with the same E2B SDK, CLI, and API.

besides carbon, here's some of my favorite software that offers BYOC

Why make an agent choose one way of solving a problem when it can explore them all?
Catch our very own @mishushakov and @ondrej_sh at @aiDotEngineer on Thursday, September 24, as they show how agents can fork live machines to explore multiple paths in parallel- each with its own copy of the machine’s state, filesystem, and running processes.
🚀 Our open-source project has a new name: E2B Runtime.
Behind every E2B stack there's a runtime. Cloud, enterprise, or embedded in your product. Same code, Apache-2.0.
Old URL redirects. Something new is already in the tree. More soon.

TIL that replacing github.com with linear.review on PR automatically opens the @linear diff viewer.
So I prepared a @raycast script and set up the ✦R shortcut to quickly open GitHub PRs in Linear Guide...😮💨
name a better duo
Cursor x E2B
Many of our customers use E2B in their internal development workflows. Some work in regulated industries where code and internal services can’t leave the company. For teams that need control over the execution environment, Cursor’s cloud agents can now use E2B as their machine.
With Self-Hosted Machines, @cursor_ai handles the agent loop while @e2b runs the code. Teams can give agents bigger machines and start them from custom E2B templates, so their Cursor workloads boot straight into an environment with internal dependencies already in place.

it was expected that @benjitaylor and the team will be creative with .dmg download screen
most @mintlify docs ship mermaid diagrams with the default theme. you don't have to

3 new integrations with E2B just dropped: Eve, Flue, and Amp. Use them with @E2B to give your agents persistent, fully customizable computers built for stateful code execution.
See how you can safely migrate an entire codebase or run your product development on autopilot👇

Going from prompt to an app you can serve to users is magical. It's also very hard to pull off at a scale of 1M+ users.
Anything's Marcus Lowe and his team has been able to build something incredible in a very short amount of time. E2B has been a part of that: absorbing the concurrency spikes that come with virality, keeping apps warm so builders can resume editing the second they log back in, and serving the finished apps once they ship them.
"I still don't know how you guys do that" - my favorite quote from this case study. Shout-out to both team @anything and @e2b for building something out of this world.

Over 120 Y Combinator companies are building on E2B. 1 in 10 of the newly launched YC S'26 batch is already on board. Some of the most interesting and fastest growing YC startups are powered by E2B.
We want to see more success in the ecosystem, so we put together the founders of Lark, Paper Instruments, Replicas, 21st, and Runtime for an evening of sharing how they're building AI in production.
And, the food will be awesome (sushi and tapas!).
If you're building agentic products (or just want to steal some great ideas over good food), come by.

We’re the only major open-source agentic sandbox platform and the only widely used sandbox platform licensed under Apache 2.0.
Like LLMs, sandboxes are a critical part of AI infrastructure. Any smart business will want to own this infrastructure in-house to protect its IP.
If you care about AI sovereignty within your company, @e2b should be on your shortlist.

Filesystem-only snapshots are now available on E2B.
Filesystem-only snapshots skip capturing memory and process state, making them quicker to create and restore while using less storage than full snapshots.
Use them when you only care about the data on disk and don’t need running processes restored. For example, to persist a workspace between sessions or save build and scratch state without restoring running processes.

From the beginning, E2B has consistently ranked near the top of the pack on performance, while also providing the most complete form of workload isolation (full microVMs), most complete lifecycle capabilities (pause/resume, snapshot, etc), and a diverse set of deployment options (BYOC).
We've never needed to benchmaxx because the years of R&D we've put into fast and secure machines tend to take care of that on their own.
Nonetheless, we participated in ComputeSDK’s 100k Burst Concurrency Benchmark and crushed it as the fastest microVM provider with a 100% success rate across 109k sandboxes.
We just keep doing what we do as the first, fastest, and most reliable Agent VM provider there is. Extremely proud of the team for being able to achieve this.
Benchmark is linked in the comments.
