Yes! It's called adjustments, trades, and front office work! We're 3 games into the season 🤷 There's plenty of time to evaluate and correct these issues if needed. Internally and externally.... There's nothing I've seen thus far that can't be corrected especially this early!

Have heard Suns big man Oso Ighodaro is feeling better but still listed as day to day so no change on his status for the Denver game on Friday night.

Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee and miss up to two months, sources tell ESPN.

Just furthers the point on who the real issue in the starting 5 is.
An example of Jalen Green & Miles Bridges playing the way this group *needs* them to.
Bridges on the defensive glass. Green gets an early paint touch, then it turns into a PnR that flattens the help & creates a closeout for Bridges to attack. Bridges keeps that advantage & makes a *quick* decision -- Luke Kennard 3.
The template is there, & though it comes with some variance (of course, it's early & there are some new/different asks of them), they've shown they're bought into it.

Ajay Mitchell dropped 30 in his first game starting in place of Jalen Williams. Just relentless on his drives to the basket with strong hand and off-hand finishing. An amazing amount of depth on the Thunder to withstand their losses. Gonna be a big year for Mitchell.

Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.

This number still holding even with another game added onto the small sample size is brutal.
Last season Dilon Brooks became our second scorer most of the season because of Green injury but his defense, rebounding and passing were not good. This season he suppose to be back as 3 and D guy but he is just bad overall so far.

Toronto's Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss a period of weeks due to swelling in his left knee, sources tell ESPN. MRI on Leonard's knee showed no structural damage, but sides will use the shorter term to ramp him back up after the stoppages during the offseason.

Phoenix is currently allowing opponents to grab 43.3% (!) of their own misses. Impossible to produce good defense when you have to defend 1.5x more possessions than you should have to.
Great center play need great guard play and great guard play need great center play! Jalen trying but its not who he is. Collin and Book can. Missing Oso and Mark doesnt help. Khaman showed flashes but he is a Rookie this season meaning more games he plays better his center play will be.
Jordan Ott on playing small ball with Miles Bridges at the five: "We're searching, we're searching for that. We need 48 minutes of great five-man play, like we talked about. Since the injuries, this owns a piece of that."
Oso Ighodaro missed second straight game with right oblique strain.
(Thunder) size, you know, at times when they're catching it over the top of us, our guys are fighting, like hell to try to get the rebound and try to keep them from just tipping it in. You feel for them, you feel for them there. So that's why we go back big. Again, our pick-and-roll defense, again, that's another reason why we decided just to switch some of that. We're going to keep searching. We need to find that 48 minutes of great center play. We have big wings that we can try to get there. Ideally, you know, we have something else there. So keep searching."
On Khaman Maluach (season-high 12 points, 7 rebounds, four fouls, four turnovers): "I think at this point, it's not game-by-game for him.. It's a long scope of who we believe he can be and know he will be. He's catching a lot, a lot at him at a time. Tonight it was zone or playing pick-and-roll defense. We changed our pick-and-roll defense to a different coverage to try to handle what they were doing to attack us. So those two guards (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Ajay Mitchell) are fantastic with the ball in their hands. (Isaiah Hartenstein) is an elite screener. So you're fighting to try to take them away from the screen at times, or over the top. He's an elite screener. So a lot of things that Man-Man is learning on the fly. And we'll be right with him every step of the way. He's gonna have some games where his impact is for every second he's on the court and some where he's gonna have some wanting some plays back. So, best thing about it is he'll continue to work and get better." #Suns #ThunderUp
Again its all about roster construction. Same people in charge repeating same mistakes even after a 180 degrees turn. A lot of high end talent with no depth became way less high end talent with depth. Two opposite type of rosters but both unbalanced!

"It's early in the season. Got a new group still molding together. Probably the frustrating part is us just hurting ourselves a little bit in that first half, but we've just got to figure it out right now. It's early. Only three games in. No need to hit the panic button. We're still learning each other. Still figuring each other out."
Jordan Goodwin (12 points, 4-of-8 from 3) after Suns (1-2) fall to undefeated OKC (4-0), 125-114 tonight. #Suns #ThunderUp
Miles and Brooks is maybe a worst fit than Book and Green. Those 4 together its an horrible fit . Oso makes them look a bit better than Khaman but even with Mark it would look bad. Again its all about roster construction and Ishbia with his FO need to correct that at the TD and next summer.

..... atp this is just narrative pushing about miles cus of his past off court stuff, anyone who watched this game with their 2 eyes knows miles was nowhere the reason why we lost today. Just absurdly stupid at this point 😅🤦♂️

Exactly, IMO Miles didn't lose us this game. Brooks has been nothing but a liability this season, he kills the flow of the game with his ISO play, and his defense is laughable most of the times. Miles didn't have a great 1H, but anytime he and Dillon are on the floor its ugly. Miles will need a little time to fit into the system, but he found his rhythm in the 2H
