As someone who has vitiligo, this almost brought tears to my eyes. Years ago, I gave up the tedious process of covering up my white spots everytime I went out. I wanted to break the stigma and I wanted to be free from self doubt. I achieved it to a large extent. But this will help so so many young girls and boys. This just makes me so happy.
If you want to be inclusive, advertise like this! This is a brand from Pune selling 1 gm jewellery, and see how stunning and festive the model looks! Don’t give me emancipated fugly models like in the @Lenskart_com #Pongal ad! And yeah, don’t whine about ‘racism’.

These are not privileged children. They are govt school children from Bhilawali, Aligarh. They made drones with waste material.
Read that again. Poor children from govt school getting such opportunities under Yogi Adityanath is why we have democracy!

3 days ago, Iran’s Women’s Soccer Team protested the Islamic Regime by refusing to sing the national anthem.
2 days ago, Iranian state media branded the women “wartime traitors.”
Today, the women were desperately begging for help from inside the team bus. They are being forcibly returned to Iran against their will, to be executed for their silent protest.
This is a horror.

Savitha was an extraordinary student , bright, driven, and full of promise.
She did not deserve to lose her life.
Om Shanti. 🕊️
Replying to @Austin_Police @MattMackowiak
Savitha was one of our superstar students at the UT Austin McCombs school of business - she was set to graduate this May, and then she was on to start her career at a big professional services firm. She was a double major with honors. Involved in student organizations - a light in the classroom. Absolutely crushing to lose her.
That location on 6th Street is pretty far west of Congress (toward Lamar), and considered safe by our students. Really no words to express the wave of sadness rolling over @UTexasMcCombs and @UTAustin. Other students are still in the hospital in very serious conditions - this is a very tough week for our community, the families, and #ATX in general. Thanks for releasing this information.

2023- Sam Altman saying it's not possible to build an LLM in India from scratch with just millions in funding
Open AI in 2023 had funding of $11.3 Billion
2026 - SARVAM launches its own foundational LLM, beats multiple foreign models on different parameters
SARVAM AI has only received funding of $53.4 Million till date
I’ve never understood why the Indian government continues to treat Bill Gates as someone so special and keeps allowing him the freedom to do whatever the hell he wants in India.
He is treating Indian citizens as lab rats.
There's Sitar, then there's Guitar. They will tell you the Sitar came to India from Iran. And the Guitar has no relation to the Sitar. And that 'tar' is not an Indian word. And Indians who had highly sophisticated Veenas and string instruments depicted in stone from 3rd century BCE, and in much older Ramayana and even more ancient Vedas, got a string instrument like Sitar in the 17th century only thanks to the Mughals and Iranians. OK, I agree. Enjoy the music now, brown sepoy. Don't itch to auto-fight for your masters in the replies. I agreed already.
What this person has done in creating awareness is something the GoI / @MIB_India / @GoI_MeitY must do regularly, in all languages, and in different ways - showing how adversaries may use AI videos to incite Indians.
The time to start doing it is now.

In 1971, people across India took to the streets to collect donations for Bangladeshi people, those who were victims of genocide at the hands of the Pakistani forces.
They contributed money by sacrificing their own expenses; cutting back on festival celebrations, movie outings, and everyday comforts to stand in solidarity with the people of Bangladesh.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on Rogan taking about how Netflix has changed filmmaking.
A major considerations is dealing with distracted viewers. To keep them tuned in, “you re-iterate the plot 3-4x in the dialogue because people are on their phones.”
Then, in action films, you change the ordering of climatic fights.
In traditional action films, you’d have “three set pieces” in every act (I, II, III) and each would “ramp up” (spend the big money on third set piece).
But streaming has to hook viewers within 5 minute, so the incentive is to put a major battle or action sequence much earlier.
Also, the directors have less incentive to make a film look great because so many people watch on laptops and phones.
They do say that streaming allows for more bets on risky projects since the theatre economics are geared towards IP, sequels and super-heroes.
Example: an independent film with a $25m budget would spend $25m on marketing (1:1 ratio). But since it splits box office with the theatre, the film needs to make $100m (1/2 of which is $50m) just to break even.
They’re realistic about the state of film and call it a supply-demand issue. If the demand is for at-home viewing (eg. Netflix 300m+ subs), then filmmaking approach will change to feed the algo.
When there’s demand for theatre, Damon will go team up with Christopher Nolan to make “The Odyssey”.
