Birkbeck Geography is under threat - half of the department might be "deleted" according to the college's proposed restructured plan. Help us #SaveBirkbeck and #SaveBBKGeography by following us and spreading our message!
We are the Save Birkbeck Geography Collective & we stand against threats by @BirkbeckUoL's Senior Management Team to cut up to 140 jobs across the college, including half of @bbkgeography. These cuts will devastate the department & the college.

While Cambodia’s #COVID19 response was seen as a success, @K_Brickell, @Theavy_Chhom, @SabinaLawreniuk & @Votey09 argue in '#COVID19 in Southeast Asia' that reliance on the faltering global market left thousands of jobs at risk in its garment industry.

Happy lunar new year, everyone! It's a bit late to tell you that I have joined Lingnan University @LuGraduate since last August as a research assistant professor. I am learning a lot here in Hong Kong!
A famous Korean footballer who played a big role in the 2002 World Cup passed away today. The news reminds me of the crazy days of the summer of 2002 in Seoul. In the 20 years since then, I've never seen more intense collective emotions than that.
