Take a look at the scale of growth, now look at Canada. Sure smaller and correspondingly so. But lots of energy, steel growth, which we aren’t going.
🚨 Trump's economic revolution is staggering - and I had TDS for 7 years. Biased, corrupt media never covered these wins. ✅ GDP grew 3.4% in Q3, beating forecasts and up from 2.2% in Q2 ✅ The Atlanta Fed expects 3.4% growth again in Q4 ✅ Business investment is up 9.4%, the biggest jump since 2020 ✅ Consumer spending is up 3.8% ✅ Layoffs are near record lows, with weekly jobless claims at just 194,000 ✅ Consumer confidence jumped 7.5 points in October ✅ Poverty has hit a record low ✅ Median income is the highest on record ✅ Citizens rather than non-citizens are getting more of the new jobs ✅ Mass immigration has stopped ✅ Violent crime posted its largest annual drop, and the murder rate is tying a multi-decade low ✅ Tax fraud, waste and abuse are ending ✅ MAHA is delivering real change, lower prices and fixing the system Election integrity, tried hard pass The Save America Act. Only to be thwarted by RINOs. 🪙 Trump's Golden Age: 🏭 For the first time in 26 years, the U.S. outproduces Japan in steel 🏗️ The first new U.S. iron ore mine in 50 years, feeding a planned $15 billion Iowa steel mill 🔩 The first new primary aluminum smelter in 50 years, in Oklahoma, which will double U.S. primary capacity once online 🚜 The first U.S.-assembled Volvo excavators are rolling out of Pennsylvania, and John Deere is moving excavator production home 🌾 Potash was named a critical mineral, with a $1.26 billion DOE loan commitment for a new Michigan mine and a USDA-backed Utah project 🧲 Rare earth magnets at scale for the first time in a generation, with a $1.2 billion South Carolina plant breaking ground 💎 Critical minerals reshored, ending 100% import dependence on 15 strategic minerals 🖥️ The first ever complete AI chip supply chain 📈 Manufacturing construction starts are up 20.2% 🔧 Machine-tool orders are up about 37% year to date, the strongest first half since the series began in 1998 🏭 The manufacturing PMI is the strongest since 2022 💰 $18 trillion pledged to restore America's ability to produce at home 🛢️ U.S. oil output tops Saudi Arabia and Russia ⚡ Power plant builds are up 68.5% 🔼 10 new LNG terminals will double export capacity by 2030 ⚛️ 10 new AP1000 nuclear reactors ☢️ Nuclear goes from 100 to 400 GW, quadrupling nuclear power by 2050, with restarts underway in PA, MI and CA Look at Brent crude & WTI after the midterms. Both are already down nearly 10%. Obvious Trump was being intentionally sabotaged with Brent crude (City of London financial elites) and gas prices. I'll take this trajectory over what we had and will have with Democrats. Every. Single. Day. Pass the SAVE America Act.

I gotta say I envy America. They elected trump and he didn’t deliver so they sent a message to the GOP. We elected Trudeau and he didn’t deliver so we elected his economic advisor to send a message. 💀🤣🤡

1. Woke left colonizes norms and institutions, wearing them like a skinsuit while injecting cultural radicalism in by stealth. Effects of left overreach put the right in office. 2. The populist right criticizes norms and institutions. Partial but chaotic reform. 3. ‘Move fast and break things’ right takes it too far. Right-wing outrage entrepreneurs descend into nihilistic, chest-thumping amoralism. Politicians like Trump into wanton incivility and corruption. Policy failures follow from hubris. 3. Voter backlash chastens the right, putting the left in power. 4. GOTO 1.

Elon Musk says the AI boom is about to hit a wall on power, and the hold-up is gas turbines. They're sold out through 2030, and only three companies on earth make the blades inside them. Now, Silicon Valley just found out it's in the natural gas business:👇 Musk told Dwarkesh Patel that AI chips are now being made faster than anyone can build the power plants to switch them on. He says other forms of power are very hard to scale quickly, which leaves gas. And you can't just order more gas turbines. The choke point is a single part. According to Musk, you can get everything else for a turbine 12 to 18 months before the vanes and blades arrive. Only three casting companies in the world make them, and all three are massively backlogged. The order books say the same thing. GE Vernova, America's biggest gas turbine maker, reported last week that 122 GW of its turbines are now ordered or reserved. It expects at least 130 GW by year-end. At the 20 GW a year it was aiming to build at by this quarter, that's roughly six years of production spoken for. Here's what that looks like on the ground. Musk says his xAI team had to gang together a whole bunch of turbines just to get a gigawatt online. They hit permit problems in Tennessee, so they crossed the border and built the power plant in Mississippi. Every one of those turbines burns natural gas. Gas already makes 40% of America's electricity, and the EIA expects record US power generation this year and again next year, with data centres one of the main drivers. I've said for a long time that years of underinvestment in oil and gas end one way: the industry hits a wall on supply. And Elon just described what that wall looks like. For years, Western energy policy treated gas as a fuel on its way out. Exploration was discouraged, projects were slowed and capital went elsewhere. Now the AI boom needs more of it than anyone planned for, and the supply chain behind it is already stretched. The energy transition was always going to be a longer road than its advocates admitted. Musk's long-term answer is solar in space, but the AI clusters going up on the ground right now are running on natural gas.

This should be the Conservative message in Canada. Poilievre has nibbled around the edges of Liberal corruption, but he needs to deliver that message to both sides of the voting spectrum.

If Canadians are proud of Americans for sending a clear message to Trump and Republicans that AFFORDABILITY MATTERS, why are Canadians, experiencing the same affordability crisis, still supporting Mark, Carney, and the Liberals?
🇨🇦 HEY AMERICA! CANADA HAS A MESSAGE FOR YOU! 🇺🇸 WE ARE SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU! ❤️ You stood up. You voted. You made your voices heard! The world is watching, and your Canadian neighbours are cheering! WE LOVE THE NEW USA! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸 #Midterms2026 #USA

I am disgusted by the brutal attack on a Canadian Armed Forces member supervising young cadets selling poppies in Hamilton. He stepped in after the cadets were assaulted. He was left with injuries police describe as life-altering. He was helping young Canadians honour those who served. He should have gone home safely to his family. No child should fear violence while selling a poppy. No Canadian should be brutalized for standing up for them. Those responsible for this cowardly attack must face the full consequences of the law. My prayers are with this member, his family, and the young cadets affected by this horrific violence. As Remembrance Day approaches, wear your poppy proudly. Support our veterans. And stand with the Canadians who serve and protect us.

Canada getting acknowledged, not in a flattering way, again…
🚨 BREAKING: Poland’s President delivered a speech this morning amid the failed coup allegedly orchestrated by Donald Tusk and the political crisis engulfing the country. He stated that the problem Poland is facing is no longer merely a political dispute but a systemic and fundamental crisis. The political conflict has gone too far, tearing families apart, destroying communities and threatening the very foundations of the Polish state. He made it clear that Poland will not allow Donald Tusk to prevail and surrender the country to EU law at the expense of Polish law. Donald Tusk attempted a coup, but FAILED. He will go down in history as a traitor to our motherland, Poland. He must be held accountable, arrested if found guilty, and brought before a court of law to face justice under Polish law, not EU law. Yesterday, he attempted to dismiss the allegations through a statement on his X account, saying: “The solution to the conflict is simple and possible without changes to the Constitution. The President recognizes the judges legally elected by the Sejm, because that is what the Constitution stipulates, and they take up their duties in the Tribunal. For now, @NawrockiKn is choosing forceful confrontation, which could cost Poland very dearly. A democratic state under the rule of law cannot yield to violence, no matter how powerful external forces support the attack by PiS, Konfederacja, Braun, and Nawrocki. And it will not yield.” But we, the Polish people, are not blind. We have seen what is happening, and no amount of political rhetoric or carefully crafted statements will make us turn a blind eye to the reality unfolding before us. What is taking place at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal is nothing short of a COUP D’ÉTAT! We will not stand by and watch anyone undermine our democracy, dismantle our institutions and seize control of our motherland. We have all witnessed what happened in France, where President Emmanuel Macron refused to act. Similar situations have occurred in Canada and Belgium. We do not need such violence or instability brought upon us by illegal foreigners. This is a direct attack on Poland’s constitutional framework, national sovereignty and democratic institutions, and those responsible must face the consequences under Polish law. The ultimate objective is to subordinate Polish law to the interests of the European Union, impose the EU Migration Pact and open our borders to tens of thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands, of illegal migrants. They want to undermine everything that has made Poland one of Europe’s safest, most stable and prosperous nations, exposing our people to the economic hardships, social tensions and instability already witnessed in other European countries. Poland must never become a country governed by foreign interests or dictated to by external powers. Our sovereignty is sacred and non-negotiable. We will defend our independence, protect our borders and fight for the future of our country. Poland belongs to the Polish people, and its future must remain in Polish hands.

I used to live in London thoroughly enjoyed my time there. How could you ever elect this person? Shameful.
I stand with London’s Muslim community in condemning this Islamophobic incident. No woman should fear for her safety because she wears a hijab. Everyone deserves to practise their faith openly and safely in our city. #LdnOnt

RBC describes 2015–2024 as an “unprecedented capital recession” and says more than $1 trillion of investment exited Canada over that decade. It also says that for every $1 of inward foreign direct investment, roughly $2 flowed outward.

“ most conservative premier in Canada” read that again @fordnation you have a lot of work to do.
Mr.Rath. You wanted to be leader and lost. To a woman who is the most conservative and courageous Premier in Canada. So now you want to trash Alberta by giving Nenshi and socialism a chance. By starting your own party. You sound more like Lesley Gore every day.

She’s a very smart woman and future leader. A bit Thatcheresque.
Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade. If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britain’s role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade? On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare. There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who don’t know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain. As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britain’s greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britain’s deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again. This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

The sad irony is Canada's Nortel would have easily fit in the Top 50 global companies. But the Communist Chinese state destroyed Nortel, ripping its IP and subsidizing Huawei til Nortel went bankrupt. Now, @MarkJCarney has declared Communist China his "strategic partner."
