anthropic is about to watermark the text claude writes for you, worldwide, starting tuesday. the detector goes to regulators, journalists and big enterprises. everyone except the person who paid for the text. so your cold email, your linkedin post, the resume you rewrote three times can get flagged as claude by some hr tool or editor, and you can't even run the check yourself to see what they'll see. openai only does this in the eu. anthropic rolled it out everywhere. you pay them monthly and they build a snitch layer on top of your work.
Claude gonna start snitching on Tuesday. Anthropic just emailed customers. Starting Nov 3, text carries an invisible watermark. You can't see it. It survives copy and paste, and it can survive some editing. Only regulators, journalists, fact-checkers and researchers can check for it right now. It doesn't say who you are. It says Claude touched the words. Even a quick proofread counts. If your brand voice runs on Claude, write like someone might check. Because now someone can.

It's crazy that Kenya is doing this in the 2020s ignoring a century of lessons from other cities worldwide.

Easy to ask why a private entity hasn’t dug a few boreholes for the community, yet a borehole here is in the 10M to 15M range due to the depth at which water is found. What does the central and county government do?
In my area…..500 metres to reach water. Not a single borehole in a 20Km radius. Compound water scarcity and persistent drought, then see the potential of water catchment during the rainy season and you stay mad.

Let’s look at the bigger picture wakuu. This game is going to advertise our country to the world. Tourists will come just because of this match that you’re all over criticizing and sending emails to those respective teams to abort. We shouldn’t be as stupid as this.
