The relentless racism oozing out of Trump and his cult is something I never thought I’d see in the United States of America. It’s devastating beyond words. As the proud daughter of Iranian immigrants, this country welcomed my parents and offered freedom and opportunity we never could have otherwise imagined. That’s why to this day, my dad is the most patriotic American I know. He loves this country so much. I hope we all keep fighting for an America where that dream is still possible for the next generation. It starts by defeating this grotesque cult once and for all.
