Effective leaders understand that their responsibility to their staff is far more important than their authority.
It’s amazing what your parents still keep. Just ask and they will find it. This hanbok is 25 years old! #HarmonyDay #harmonyweek #nsweducation #HarmonyDay2022 #everyonebelongs #hanbok

A white cube has its six faces painted pink, and then the cube is cut into 8 smaller cubes. The pieces are then shuffled and reassembled into a 2x2x2 cube in a purely random fashion. What are chances the 2x2x2 cube is all white?

We call someone leader not because they are in charge but because they have the courage to go first. To risk first. To trust first. First into the unknown.

#LFH #proudteacher moment 📣Here are some of the answers students in #Year1 provided. This (along with other closed ended questions) was one way for teachers to #assess students understating of #numberpatterns. It is always so interesting to see how our students think! #mathschat

I remember a teacher telling me: “When you’re surrounded by superstars… it makes you want to be better than you are.” That’s the power of collaboration -- the power of positive peer pressure. The best teachers don’t just inspire their students; they inspire their colleagues.

If ur focused on ‘stopping the kids cheating’ by use of elaborate ICT structures, I’d argue it’s more valuable use of time & Pedagogy to focus on the qns being asked. Give them the answers, open book. Focus on the ‘proof of solution’ & ‘application of knowledge’. Just saying…🤷🏼♂️

Worlds tallest sandcastle in Denmark this week is a great realistic context to investigate! Notice & wonder to start imagining the mathematics needed. Make their own sandcastle to confirm/challenge these ideas & refine. Want to try this! @CFLM_math @ellenmkim @MissFlee_ @trdavo
