IRAN'S DANGEROUS WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY:
Tomorrow marks the Israeli elections that seem to have significant potential to unseat Bibi Netanyahu. After this, on November 3rd, comes the U.S. midterm elections…
There is EXACTLY a week between these two elections, and this is Iran’s opportunity to maximize their strategic positioning before a likely return to war between all sides.
Iran doesn’t want to significantly escalate BEFORE the Israeli elections, because this would give Netanyahu an excuse to escalate and potentially go so far as to cancel the Israeli elections altogether. Just from re-launching the war against Iran, particularly if he has a thinly-veiled “legitimate” excuse to do so, he will experience a rallying around the flag in Israel that would likely help him in the elections.
Iran doesn’t want to help Netanyahu.
But then there is a week before the U.S. elections… Israel has already held their own, so there is no longer a rationale for them to preemptively strike at Iran knowing full well that this would HURT Trump in the midterms, and realistically speaking… Trump may be the last TRULY Israel-first president Tel Aviv gets in Washington. They don’t want to sink him at the midterms for no reason.
And simultaneously, President Trump is DESPERATE to avoid anything that could possibly spike oil, gas, and diesel prices. And he CERTAINLY doesn’t want to bring the disastrous Iran War back to the top of the headlines right before America casts their votes that could turn Trump into a lame duck president.
So from October 27th to November 3rd…
Iran has a SERIOUS window to basically take free rein over the Middle East, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman, and Persian Gulf… Oh, and that so-called “Omani Route” as well…
This is where Iran may seek to employ actions that many people are surprised they have not throughout the course of October.
Perhaps one of the most likely courses of action they may take is attempting to re-mine the Omani Route. Again, think of this from the Iranian perspective. This is… basically the ONLY way that the United States has been able to survive up to this point. And sure, they COULD launch strikes against these vessels… but would they? REALLY? And what happens if Iran then uses that as an excuse to escalate further, bringing oil and headlines with it?
Beyond this, it is likely that Iran may look to disrupt the Gulf of Oman ship-to-ship transfer point. If they WANTED to… Iran could almost certainly sink DOZENS of vessels that are conducting transfers and waiting for partner vessels here.
In addition, we have ALREADY seen Iran significantly expand the scope of their vessel targeting to include not just vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz under US air cover, but the FAR more easy to hit targets of vessels anchored in ports in the Persian Gulf, as well as vessels in the Gulf of Oman (but not the STS point).
This is the concern. Before the Israeli elections, Iran didn’t want to escalate significantly because any resumption or excuse to resume war would be greatly beneficial to Netanyahu. Something Iran certainly does not want. But then until the US Midterms on November 3rd, Trump would flip a LID if Israel launched preemptive strikes against Iran, and in parallel, Trump will DESPERATELY want to avoid any significant swings in the global energy markets, and will want to keep the Iran War as far from the headlines as physically possible.
This week-long stretch is Iran’s single best opportunity they will ever have to shift the strategic landscape as far in their favor as possible to prepare for a potential resumption of war that seems almost unavoidable at this point.

What is the essence of successful reforms that enriches only the political elite rather than the populace, this is partly why the population don't even trust well planned polices meant for the well being of the society
No wonder politics is now a do-or-die affair. Only in Nigerian politics can a pauper become a billionaire overnight. Just look at a simple APC youth leader donating brand new 2026 cars, each worth over N120m. If someone can dash out these, imagine what he has amassed!

There is no point in explaining any economic reform of the president to the common man when a youth leader with nothing upstairs, an empty barrel, can confidently come online to display brand-new cars for his boys.
What a foolish guy with no sense of awareness or emotional intelligence. And I also blame the weak opposition for his rascality, maybe if they had active youth leaders he could have learnt one or two things from them.
The country is struggling to increase the minimum wage, fund salaries for health workers, soldiers, lecturers, and students; businesses are groaning under high lending rates; but this airhead who can't articulate his impact on the people feels it's the right time to post luxury cars for some random nonentities.
We give struggling students loans, then splash N150m on cars for youth leaders and flaunt it in their faces. What is this guy's input in the party? All he does is fly private jets, sleep in hotels and flaunt his lavish lifestyle in the faces of struggling Nigerians.
He doesn't join spaces, you won't see him on TV speaking to the party manifesto, he does nothing.
I implore all the sensible youths in the party to sign a petition for the APC Youth Leader's resignation. The cars should be retrieved and sold and the money, wherever it came from, channeled to either Nelfund or the Basic Health Provision Fund.
I need someone to create the petition link, we need to get this dunce out of that office. His brain has migrated to his protruding stomach. Absolute nonsense...

It’s October. If you’ve been betting since January and it hasn’t improved your finances, please wake up and stop.

Based on what I see on this app. Nigerian dating culture is just prostitution. Boy meets girl. Boy says you’re cute I would like to take you out. Girl sends money request. Boy pays or says no because she’s too expensive. Girls there have no values or morals they are driven by 💰
If people can be mobilized to Kaduna for 15k as alleged, then buying votes will be even easier and cheaper.

Once you realize that your surname or that "uncle" can't get you a solid government job, stop wasting time hoping for one.
Hustle and hustle. Look elsewhere. Hustle.
The private sector can be very rewarding - if you're not lazy.
I saw firsthand how the APC mobilizes people across states to come to Kaduna for the inaugural campaign. Even from Katsina, each local government had to send a retinue of locals to support the campaign. I think it's safe to say the opposition is not ready.

For those predicting another round of war against Iran, I have a simple question:
What would another war achieve that the intense bombing by the United States and Israel failed to achieve?
Will it bring about regime change? Will it force Iran to negotiate on terms it has already resisted? Or will it simply deepen Iran’s determination to resist?
Wars must have clear, achievable objectives. Military superiority does not automatically translate into political success.
Another war could drive up oil prices, disrupt global trade, destabilise the region and impose further costs on an already strained U.S. economy.
The real question is not whether the U.S. and Israel can inflict more damage on Iran. They certainly can.
The question is whether that damage can achieve a political outcome that previous military action could not.
If the answer is unclear, what exactly is the purpose of another war?

I would choose ₦3 million monthly in Nigeria if I can work online because I’m moving to live on the outskirts of Lagos, where the cost of housing is more manageable and would allow me to invest ₦2 million per month on the NGX and still enjoy my life with ₦1 million per month. In 5 years, I’d have invested ₦120 million, and the portfolio should be worth around ₦300 million+.
The £3k per month income in the UK is too small to save £1k monthly if you have a family, even if you live in Burnley with one of the cheapest housing in the country. If you’re single, then you can probably get by on £2000 monthly and invest £1000.
