Deadlock will become genuinely unfun and unplayable for the people who have enjoyed it up until this point unless ults are deprioritized. It will end up feeling like every other hero based game where ults alone decide the game.

Here's what i thought of for violet day 1. Just infinite cooldown reduction items constant uptime on literally every spell - thought of getting gun items early but i felt all she needed was spellslinger and could use surge for some extra fire rate early

I really feel like Deadlock has an easier entry than other MOBAs. I came in with zero MOBA experience, only loving hero shooters, and saw it as a super strategic hero shooter. I love mechanical, strategic, teamwork-based games — DL feels like the best version of all three
