Today we announce the launch of the Giotto family of models. We are unveiling Giotto Alto and Giotto Solo, the smartest European sovereign AI models on the market. Giotto Alto is our flagship model built for advanced reasoning capabilities, free for everyone and available on the App Store and Google Play. It is hosted on European cloud infrastructure, so your data stays in Europe. Giotto Solo is the smartest model that runs on a single GPU, so organisations can keep their AI on their own infrastructure. We are a Swiss lab with a European heart and we built this so that Europe can run advanced AI on its own terms. Use Giotto: cloud.giotto.ai/
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Giotto's graphic shows self-reported benchmark scores comparing to specific variants of other models; independent leaderboards as of late Oct 2026 list no Giotto and different leading scores on AIME 2026, GPQA-Diamond and HLE. giotto.ai benchlm.ai/benchmarks/aim… benchlm.ai/benchmarks/gpq… benchlm.ai/benchmarks/hle

This is Genie 4, our most realistic and interactive world model yet. 🌐 Explore dynamic environments in real time to see how the scene responds, sounds, and how the people in it move, react, and speak.

It’s kinda crazy to me that we melt sand down, clean it to 99.99999% purity, literal wizards have to draw it slowly into an ingot, we cut it, inscribe a hundred billion little on/off switches on it, and when you run electric current through it you can do basic arithmetic, which when you do enough of it can do any math on the planet, and which describes reality well enough that we can teach it the ontological meaning of words and their distance from each other on a high-dimensional space, and if you ask, it can tell you what word comes next and that apparently is powerful enough that if you do it a hundred billion times it’s the smartest thing to ever exist oh yeah and we use this primarily for email

AH is niet de enige supermarkt
300+ French supermarkets had to throw out all their frozen food because their refrigeration system got hacked. The new normal, unless we get our act together.

dude computers are actually so fucking insane when you really think about it. we literally figured out how to write some fake-ass rules called code and somehow convinced rocks to follow them. like actual rocks. sand, melted, purified, carved into tiny pathways where electricity just flows in patterns. that’s it. that’s the whole magic. and yet from that we get operating systems, compilers, kernels, networks, distributed systems, machine learning models, entire virtual worlds running inside other virtual worlds. billions of tiny electrical decisions per second, all because we defined some abstract logic. humans basically invented a language of instructions and taught matter itself to execute it.

30 million euros to potentially cure pancreatic cancer. The US spent nearly $30 billion on pancreatic cancer care in 2020. Most of it managing a disease with a 5-year survival rate under 10%. That's 0.1% of what we spend managing this disease annually. This is where resources should go, toward breakthroughs. This is the kind of research I'll always stand behind. Not managing disease. Curing it.
🚨: Mariano Barbacid, who discovered the cure for pancreatic cancer needs 30M€ to start the clinical trial in humans against pancreatic cancer. It has already managed to eliminate the disease in mice. nitter.gq/CocoMediaExilio/status…

An AI artist named Sienna Rose has 3 songs getting streamed in the Spotify top 50 and I'm pretty sure nobody knows it's an AI artist Selena Gomez just posted one of the songs on her Instagram for the Golden Globes
