WE’VE WAITED YEARS FOR THIS
- From Malik Sealy
- To Stephon Marbury
- From busts like Darko Miličić and Derrick Williams
- From missing on Curry
- To Rubio’s ACL

Through it all we earned it. It’s time Minnesota.

I’m really glad we’ve had all this conversation about constitutional daggers that will hopefully be reconstituted in the near future. I just wish we would have had this type of conversation when we were discussing fully funding our indigenous ministries. #elcacwa
“I think you may be correct that there is some confusion”. Ain’t that the truth. #elcacwa
Our SD parliamentarian likes to say Robert’s Rules are meant to serve the assembly not the other way around… seems like we’re the other way around. #elcacwa
Learning Robert’s Rules. Apparently “I call to question” is how you shut down conversation before people start thinking too much...and apparently we don’t want to talk about things anyways #elcacwa
The amended memorial cut the commitment to fully fund our indigenous ministries and also kicked it three years down the road. And the whole thing was moved so fast that there wasn’t even time to consider what we were voting on. This was a failure on so many levels. #elcacwa
The assembly affirms Memorial A8: #LandBack, which commits the ELCA to support creative programs resulting in #reparations for stolen lands, and to learn about, learn from, and be in deepening relationship with Indigenous people and tribal nations. #ELCAcwa
#elcacwa youtu.be/eLVuC_zhKwQ Reflection on the hymn we sang earlier today from Vicar Jon Old Horse of Woyatan Lutheran in Rapid City, SD. If you’re going to use the hymn, understand it’s historical significance.
Vigil for the 215 children four at the Kamloops Residential School:June 21, 8pm MDT at Woyatan in Rapid City. It will be streamed online. If you cannot attend, please help spread awareness about this issue as the grief is aggravated by lack of attention. fb.me/e/PnowH5BD
