Who suffers when polling places have half the employees they need? Underserved communities, mostly. โ

That's why I want you to become a paid poll worker. You're the difference between a good Election Day and a nightmare. bit.ly/PowerThePoll

I've talked to TOO MANY black Southern voters this week (and during my life) I wanna stop and explain the concept of "the establishment" to some people and why a lot of black Southern voters will NEVER vote for Bernie.

It is not the wealthy who suffer most in war.
It is the working class soldier who volunteers for his country.
It is the mother who loses her child.
It is the refugee who loses her home.
Warfare is also class warfare.

South Dakota is planning to execute Charles Rhines tomorrow. Charles, a gay man, was sentenced to death by homophobic jurors. They sent him to death row because he is gay. This is unconstitutional and just plain wrong. Iโm calling on @govkristinoem to put a stop to this now.

Experts say #MedicareForAll means doctors no longer waste hours on billing and get to spend more time providing quality care. Patients will no longer worry โis this doctor in-network?โ or โcan I afford this?โ This is a health care system we deserve!

I am triggered by those who piled on Representative Ilhan Omar and incited a hate mob against her until she got assassination threats now giving condolences to our community. What we need you to do is reflect on how you contribute to islamophobia and stop doing that.

I'm sorry, but nobody on this earth is "trash." Not a single person is disposable. We are surrounded by beloved children of God, each one worthy of love & belonging. You can draw boundaries, friends, without declaring someone garbage. โ at Cleveland, TN

Unlike this President, Rep. @IlhanMN demonstrated a capacity to acknowledge pain & apologize, use the opportunity to learn abt history of antisemitism,+grow from it while clarifying her stance.
Iโm also inspired by Jewish leadership who brought her in, not push her out, to heal.
"If you denounce Ilhan Omar but support Donald Trump, you donโt really oppose bigotry. You donโt even really oppose anti-Semitism. What you oppose is criticism of Israel," writes @PeterBeinart:
