We started Mubit in Aberdeen. No network, no lab, nobody knew us. We just wanted AI systems that actually work. Today we work with some of the best companies and engineers in the world. And the thing we kept seeing: you and your competitor run the same AI. It should be yours. 🧵 Comment "SAPLING" in the next 48 hours for $100 free credits. Enterprises get the first month free.

We're announcing the public beta of datavendor.ai We spent the last two years building the best solution for people buying and selling data, whether you're a researcher in a lab or a company trying to sell data. Data is the fundamental bottleneck for AI progress, and DataVendor will be the infra that solves it.

my process for achieving goals: > write down where you are today & what you want to achieve - the vision > identify how progress is measured + what metric counts as success > break the vision into repetitive actionables (habits), and a checklist of standalone actions > every day, work through repetitive actionables first & then chip away at the checklist > do a weekly overview of the progress through metrics (have you worked through the checklist? is the focal datapoint progressing in the right direction?) the only two things that will affect whether you reach the endpoint are: a) your initial judgement (are the action items actually moving the metrics in the right direction?) b) your ability to adhere to the program
long-term goals are useless if they're not broken down into actionables & measurable datapoints... these "goals" are largely used as a cope - you probably already know what you need to be doing to get to where you want to be

i theorize that flint is what most of the models we use will look like in a few years... coding is the most repetitive, highest-volume thing people do with models high-volume work will always drifts toward whatever is cheapest to run & a model on your own laptop is the most logical way to drive that price down to $0 code also happens to be the most sensitive thing companies own, which is why all roads lead to local the only reason this hasn't happened yet is quality - small local models are noticeably worse, but flint looks like it's bridging that gap
🤝 Paid partnership
Introducing Flint, @Recursive_SI’s first model: a fast local coding model built with our automated research system, the Eureka Machine. • Best-in-class fast local coding • Up to 2x faster than comparable models: 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark • Built from scratch in under 4 months Private, unmetered intelligence on your own machine. Open weights available now on @huggingface, run it locally on your favorite framework or try it for free on @opencode or @pidotdev.

few things have inspired me as much as seeing whop's growth over the last 2 years...
Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify. It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine. We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there. Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day. Who cares, tiny market. But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one. Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people. My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner. We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier. We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly. The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.

Our heterogeneous cloud just got better. We're announcing a cluster scale deployment of @positron_ai as our next partner. We believe demand for fast inference will outstrip supply for the next decade. Our bet on Positron is another step towards getting fast inference for opensource models into builders' hands. Hardware goes live Q1 2027. Thanks to @mitesh711, @trsohmers and the whole Positron team! We're excited for this partnership. LFG!

I launched the first image and video generation models at Google, and kept asking why all AI designs look the same. AI has brought us the WORST era of design. It made content creation effortless, but it also made 90% of it look painfully generic. My co-founder and I spent 2 years building in stealth to change that. Meet Vyb, the first AI design model that understands your taste like a designer would. RT + comment your website URL and we’ll make your first design.

i kinda commend people like marc for not doing paid promotions even though they could 4x their income overnight if they did... at the same time, i don't blame people for doing them, i avoided it for over a year but realized i was super stupid for doing so if you don't make any claims you don't believe in, i can't see the issue in it it all comes down to the audience you've built, my brand is all about making money so i assume the people following me don't gaf that i do a paid partnership once in a while & with it being about making money, it'd be counter-intuitive for me to turn down an extra $50k-$100k/mo for giving my honest opinion on new product launches
“Paid partnership” My mind went from “wow this is cool” to “meh it’s an ad”. I felt deceived. The disclaimer should be above the post, not below, IMHO.

Introducing SKY-001, the first Engineering World Model. On CAD and BIM tasks, it beats GPT-6 Astra and every frontier model we tested: -> 51-125x faster - > 150-210x cheaper -> Higher IOU than all frontier models SKY-001 lets you dream a physical object before you build it. 18 months of work. Built by the team out of Maluuba's deep learning lab (acq. by @MSRResearch). The first ‘AI General Engineer’ will be the backbone for Autonomous Manufacturing.

as a polish person, it's pretty insane to see the narrative flip in the last 10 years... i was born in poland - at the time it was a country slowly recovering from communism like millions of other families we were very poor, so we moved to western europe when i was a few years old for most of my life, to be a polish kid was to be the son of poor migrants - a british person looking up to poland was almost unheard of in 2020+ the narrative has completely flipped, today somebody moving from poland to the UK is considered an almost unfathomable downgrade our country has been through a lot - partitions, being the epicenter of both world wars, uprisings, genocide, displacement, communism it took 30 years of freedom to turn the resilience this has instilled in us + the hunger of being one of the poorer countries in europe, into the country poland is today - a very inspiring success story the only sad thing about all of this, is that our great grandparents & their parents, the ones who actually endured all of this suffering & fought to make poland what it is today, didn't get to see the country it'd turn into
🇵🇱 Warsaw is Poland's biggest city and it is completely safe at 1am at night No violent junkies, no drug dealers, no street thugs hanging around harassing women (and men), no pickpockets (nor in the day btw) No shady people hanging around the train and metro stations Just people living chill together and police enforcing safety You know like we used to in Western Europe? There's a lot to learn from Poland

every breakthrough in my life has come from a bout of obsession... 1-2 months where i lock myself in the office, eyes glued to the screen, forgetting to eat i've never found balance to work for me - in my eyes balance = maintenance, growth comes in bouts of obsession i wish i could consciously trigger this obsession for anything i wish, but it seems like it's a force that takes over when it needs to

contrary to popular belief, vibe-coding a good product is still very hard.. requires a good understanding of what you're trying to build, UX, & hella back/forth to translate your vision to the agent creating a product that you expect 1000's of people to use requires a lot of testing + attention to detail, it's not the same as building quick internal tools that only serve one purpose
