I guess I have to ruin The Show and explain what all this is about.
This is all telling a story, a story that happens over and over in these online communities. Someone goes crazy, says the wrong thing, is a little too human, and everyone pounces on them. Beefing and suspicion begins. Which makes them go crazier. You’ve seen a lot of spiritual accounts come and go following this pattern. Eventually the person goes psychotic. Have you ever wondered why this is so prevalent in your communities, even niche ones as these? Have you ever wondered why this endless mass of micro digital celebrities are warmed up and consumed? Especially on spiritual twitter, people become more and more deranged and eventually do something terrible. The occultist losing his mind is the oldest tale about occultists.
When I started this account, I wanted to see if a Twitter page could be art. If I could blur the distinction between reality and performance so much the two became indistinguishable. I gave you two years of antics. Now I’ve been crashing out. Being a parody of a religious lunatic maniac. Why?

Also it’s showing you the ugly underbelly you want to ignore because you want people to keep paying customers.
While also at the same time speaking some deep truths:
Words are violent. They can put ideas in your head.
Real magic is not written in words, but by reading them, you can glimpse magic.
Who’s been putting ideas in your head all your life? Who’s been telling you that words have to mean anything at all?
Why are you letting any of that I say get to you?
Social media has made you so docile and reactive that you do not even engage any critical reading and realize when someone is engaged in social media meta-commentary.
Because you are plugged into the control matrix. Where words have power.
Words are obsolete.
When you can learn to stop letting what They Say control what You Know then you’ll be Free.
