Do any of those vibed Rust compiler/cargo optimizers actually work? Preferably something aiming for a "hot reload" experience with GPUI?
Anyone?

I keep hitting refresh here where is the PHP vuln?

One week later, Pele is already in dozens of apps including @obsdmd 1.15 and @bot! Many improvements this week:
- Even faster rendering!
- Math resolver support: KaTeX, MathJax, Temml, etc
- Gradients in sankey diagrams
- Fewer edge crossings in diagrams with subgraphs
- Subscript, superscript and inline code in labels + text styles: kbd, underline, ins, cite and others
On a personal note, I am so grateful for all the love Pele received! I truly did not expect it.
My hope with Pele was to get a few bug reports ahead of the Obsidian release, so it's a wonderful feeling to see it adopted so quickly. I take this as a great honor and responsibility.
If you added Pele to your app or website, feel free to share it below 🌋

Real talk I know he’s joking but I hope everyone’s doing okay.
This industry is rough sometimes.
Make sure you go and literally touch grass, look at the sun (not directly you know what I mean)
I think we've discovered another critical vulnerability:
CVE-2026-BURNOUT: AppSec Professional Exhaustion
Severity: Critical (CVSS 10.0)
Description: A vulnerability affecting security professionals exposed to a continuous stream of critical RCEs, zero-days, emergency patches, and Friday afternoon disclosures.
Impact: Sleep deprivation, excessive caffeine consumption, and an inability to enjoy weekends.
Attack vector: Reading security advisories.
Affected versions: All AppSec professionals, regardless of experience.
Mitigation: No known patch. Air-gapping may delay the inevitable. Total system collapse remains a possibility. 🔥

tbh. @bot has passed my toothbrush test. i would pay [1] money per month to keep it in my life. i was wrong about ai assistants.
[1] circa $300/month in tokens would be acceptable to me.

Hold up, reading code is still valuable.
Why people should learn to code by hand: it's a mechanism for learning and teaching.
In much the same way you should still learn calculus, even if writing it by hand isn't that "useful" for your career.
@karpathy's series on llm's is a wonderful example (it's incredible btw).
Come in knowing a little calc AND python and you'll get a ton out of it very quickly. Following this would be much harder not knowing operator overloading, FP arithmetic, classes, etc.
The future is not writing python, rust, or asm by hand. But just like learning mathematical notation, grokking one or a few PLs well is a foundation on which you can build a lot of other deep knowledge, and gain a strong sense of computing systems.
