JPMorgan says any dip in AI stocks after a Democratic sweep in the midterms would be a buying opportunity.
The bank expects AI spending to stay strong through 2028 no matter who wins. It sees divided government as the best outcome for stocks: the S&P 500 has averaged a 21% gain over two-year terms of gridlock since 1950, versus 18% under one-party control.

Data centers will come under scrutiny but that fear has been adequately priced in at this point. Many Republicans campaigned on tighter permitting too. Everyone wants the jobs and tax revenue. The importance of behind the meter power is nothing new. Show goes on.

Tomorrow could trigger the stock market's biggest rally
President Trump could become the 8th president in history to lose both the House and Senate to Democrats
What happened to the S&P after, on average:
• 1 month later: +2.1% (6 of 7 times positive)
• 3 months later: +10.7% (7 of 7 times positive)
• 6 months later: +17.5% (7 of 7 times positive)
• 1 year later: +15.5% (7 of 7 times positive)
This has only happened 7 times since 1954 and prediction markets have the odds this happens at 71%
Damn..its going to be painful tomorrow.,I thought blue sweep was priced in but apparently not.

$NBIS: Quick reminder on how diversified Nebius is becoming
4 continents across 13 countries and 7 different states here in the US.
$NBIS: So in the past week we've seen expansion into 3 more countries:
🇸🇦 - Oxagon deal in NEOM with HUMAIN(Sovereign wealth fund)
🇦🇺- Site selector and colocation manager role popped up
🇲🇾- Warehouse and logistics team lead role popped up & DAMAC Director met with Nebius and said "We had a great discussion about the opportunities ahead, potential areas of collaboration"
Once these 3 get confirmed, that would be 13 different countries where Nebius has data centers across 4 continents:
Europe: Estonia, Finland, Iceland, France, UK, Netherlands, Spain
EMEA: Saudi Arabia, Israel
APAC: Malaysia, Australia, India
North America: USA(7 different states)
NO ONE ESLE is this international OTHER than the hyperscalers: GCP, Oracle, AWS & Azure

Good thing $NBIS has ZERO data centers in Texas.
$nbis is building across the world
Gina Hinojosa just won the Texas governor's race and this could become a pretty big headache for several AI infrastructure stocks.
Looking at the chart, companies like $IREN, $GLXY, $CIFR, $RIOT, $FRMI, and $CORZ have some of the highest exposure to Texas, while $CRWV and $BTDR have moderate exposure. Meanwhile, companies like $NBIS, $APLD, and $WULF have relatively little direct exposure, which could actually work in their favor if Texas starts restricting new data center development. The biggest concern here is that Hinojosa has called for a moratorium on new data centers until additional safeguards around electricity, water, and local communities are established. That could potentially delay future expansions and push revenue timelines further out for companies that are heavily dependent on Texas.
Personally, I still think the AI buildout will continue regardless of who is in office. AI infrastructure spending is the most important driver of economic growth in the US and significantly slowing it down could create another major headwind for an economy that is already facing plenty of uncertainty. I understand the concerns surrounding electricity and water consumption, but the last thing we need is to start slowing down one of the biggest investment cycles in American history. Especially when so much of our future economic growth is increasingly tied to AI. At the end of the day, I think these projects will move forward, but investors need to pay close attention to which companies have already secured approvals and which ones are still relying on future expansions.

Rosenblatt on $AAOI:
"We believe each $1M of InP substrates can support ~$30mn of transceiver sales, so the $194.4M 2027 contract could underpin ~$5.8bn of annual transceiver revenue, or roughly 12mn modules at the ~$500 blended ASP implied by AAOI’s 2027 revenue and capacity targets. Over the full five-year agreement, that implies ~$29bn of transceiver revenue at constant pricing. Our estimate is consistent with AAOI’s target of a ~$471mn monthly data center transceiver run rate by mid-2027, or ~$5.7bn annualized. Substrates are therefore only ~3% of transceiver revenue, so rising substrate prices should have a limited impact on margins, and over its full term the contract can also support growth beyond 2027, including high-power lasers for ELSFP and CPO"
