i saw someone cancelled their art contest because not many people participated , i wonβt point them out but if you want to hold an art contest you canβt just cancel it or extend it endlessly until a lot or skilled artists join or whatever reason you had in mind
i side-eye anyone now who constantly talks about being kind or being a girlβs girl or retweets stuff about it and iβve been proven right on several occasions

maybe an unpopular opinion (and unrelated to current drama it just made me think about it seeing so many comments) but i hate the 'you don't owe anyone anything' mentality when it comes to thanking people for basic things.
if someone does something nice for you that they didn't have to do, i feel like it's the bare minimum to at least say thank you for it. you don't have to return the favor or do anything special beyond that but a simple thanks is the bar for being a decent person IMO. a lot of gen z especially is really weird about this stuff sometimes.
it's genuinely so funny to me anytime someone calls me or implies i'm a grifter when i donate 100% of the money i make streaming to dog rescue (and not just proceeds on top of costs, i donate anything received while spending hundreds of my personal funds a month on art, editing, etc).
maybe i should start, grifting for charity sounds kind of based ngl
