You see, the joke is: 1) I like football 2) I'm antisocial

Tell me you don't know anything about Protestants without telling me you don't know anything about Protestants.
The Didache is the Protestant’s worst nightmare.

Cornyn as AG would make a lot of sense and would probably be uncontroversial with the Dems. But would Cornyn want it, and would he last long if he pushed back against Trump?
Remember when President Trump said he was going to endorse either Paxton or Cornyn then *ask the other to drop out*? What happened with that? Instead, he endorsed Paxton while calling Cornyn "a good man." Today's language was measured for him.

MAGA taking great pains to push out reliable conservatives like Cornyn, Massie, and Sasse continues to tell me that MAGA doesn't want me to vote Republican. The Dems going all in on Talarico tells me that don't want me voting Democrat. So I guess I'll be writing in my own name.

The fact that Reece James is playing CM today rather than RW tells us volumes about the quality of Chelsea's midfielders

That Lucas had the prequel arc generally sketched out in the early days but chose not to start with it makes sense. He started with the story arc he could turn into entertaining films.
Lucas hadn't decided exactly what episode it should be, but even Gary Kurtz admits that subtitling it as a middle episode was the plan early on. Fox nixed it because they thought it would confuse the audience:

That means the prequel arc had problems from the start, and no one stepped in during the making of the prequels to make them into tight, coherent film stories.

He chose to focus on Luke because his story is a classic hero arc. The villain arc is harder to do, especially with a fandom built on a classic hero story. Lucas got too focused on fun and fan service rather than a engaging, belivable villain origin story.

Kamala Harris is now calling for Democrats to hold a “No Bad Idea Brainstorm” where they discuss: - Abolishing the Electoral College - Packing the Supreme Court - Making Puerto Rico and D.C. states “We’ve got to neutralize these red states from cheating!”

Sigh. Trains can coexist alongside cars and airplanes just fine. A high-speed rail journey to another metro on this map could easily compete with air travel, as rail should put one in the middle of the city and doesn't have TSA checks slowing down the travel process.
They invented airplanes.

Most people make these journeys in cars and our metros continue to expand. The choice is to either continue to expand highways, add airport capacity, or add rail. All of these require significant government expenditure.

I continue to be puzzled by the conservative resistance to trains. They can be an efficient use of land and money if done properly. Conservatives complain about the cost, but don't account for the massive cost of highway maintenance and expansion.

Maybe this is the upside of the portal era. Playing time and visibility will be more valuable right out of high school rather than sitting on the bench at a blue blood program. So smaller programs give players the chance to get reps and showcase themselves.
North Texas has landed a commitment from 4⭐️ HB Victor Scott, who instantly becomes the highest ranked recruit in Mean Green history. The Lancaster product holds offers from schools such as Georgia, Oregon, and Texas A&M. #GMG #UNT #NorthTexas

It may be smart for G6 recruiters to highlight their program's ability to showcase players and their history of guys moving to big P4 programs. The constant roster church probably means recruits will fancy their chances to start.

Mary is neither omniscient nor omnipotent, so we have no reason to believe that she can hear your prayers or answer them. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Tim 2:5
Mary is the Mother of the whole Church. Everyone can turn to her with filial confidence, certain of being heard, protected, and loved. #GeneralAudience

Call me crazy or ignorant, but football just seems like a game where the manager has to have meaningful input in putting together the roster - to have the skills to fill the role the manager wants and to have the character the manager can work with.
Lampard: 'The Chelsea period of six, seven weeks, I went into a club which was my club in effect, and it was completely different, the motivation had gone. Some players were not playing for different reasons, injuries, or they were going to move in the summer. It was a great, tight learning curve, that when those things were all going on, it’s really hard to win football games.' #CFC

The American Big 4 front office setup- having a GM separate from and not accountable to the head coach - doesn't seem to work well. A College Football setup, where the head coach is the head of all football operations, seems like it would work better.

I fully support @JohnCornyn for re-election. Character matters!
