How much for Wesley Fofana? 👀
This very much confirms that he is retiring from football altogether at the end of the season.
Cristiano Ronaldo's international career ends on a bad note, but his legacy with the national team will be unmatched.
This feels like an indirect message to Manchester United 👀
Aston Villa held an important working meeting today to plan the club's future and lay the foundations for its long-term sporting and institutional project.
The meeting brought together Nassef Sawiris, the club's Chairman and Unai Emery alongside President of Football Operations Roberto Olabe and Director of Football Operations Damián Vidagany.
The discussions focused on jointly planning the club's long-term strategic direction, with positive discussions establishing a clear commitment beyond 2029 for the joint development of the club under the sporting leadership of Unai Emery based on the shared ambitions and common goal to reach excellency and keep growing during the next years.
The objective is clear: to build an ambitious, competitive Aston Villa capable of taking on the biggest challenges and achievements.
See how there's no mention of Estevao's attitude in training and other bs - cos none of that's true. Just like those 100+ transfer links that keep getting reported every other day.
Chelsea's only concern with Estevao was fitness (hamstring) and the physicality - both mentioned.

We don't need to sign a bunch of defenders at all. We just need Xabi to get his tactics right, improve set-piece defending and for these players to start loving and not tolerating not keeping clean sheets.
We conceded 12 goals in our first 5 games at 2.4 per game.
We've conceded 3 in our last 4 at 0.75 per game.
Clear improvements already.
Not many people will agree with this, but take a good look at our league position. Yes, we are 4th in the Premier League and among the highest-scoring teams with 19 goals. But we have also conceded 15 goals, putting us among the teams with the worst defensive records.
Our league position looks good, but the team still has serious problems at the back. We need to address our defence in January and spend big on quality defenders, just as we have done with our attack. We cannot keep scoring goals and giving them away at the other end.
One clear winner and it's not even close.
Putting in big performances 💪

FULL TIME: Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United.
Unreal Second half, but how they come away with a win AND a clean sheet is a Halloween mystery.
