❌ Two penalty shouts, neither given.
The one on Isak surely had to be looked at?!
🚨 BREAKING: PGMOL has admitted that Liverpool should have been awarded a PENALTY against Arsenal and that Noni Madueke should have received a RED CARD at Anfield.
Following a review of the match, PGMOL accepted that Jurrien Timber’s shirt pull on Alexander Isak warranted a penalty and that VAR should have recommended an on-field review.
The governing body also acknowledged that Madueke, who had already been booked, should have been dismissed following his confrontation with Alexis Mac Allister.
PGMOL has confirmed a formal investigation into the officiating of referee Andy Madley and VAR official Stuart Attwell, including their decision-making during the match. The Premier League has been informed and will oversee the investigation.
Liverpool lost 1-0 to Arteta's haramball, but the review has now confirmed two significant officiating errors that went against them. FSG are reportedly seeking further clarification. Wirtz, Barcola, Nyoni and Kerkez are all FURIOUS.
The admission raises serious questions about the standard of officiating and the accountability of match officials.

Liverpool is the only big team in the Premier League that gets unfavorable refereeing at their home stadium. Unbelievable

Football doesn’t reward good behavior, we say we want players to play clean and not dive but then when they do so there’s no reward. If Isak dived after being pulled by Timber we 100% get a penalty. Now Isak is getting calling naive for not diving. Why should Isak have to dive when there are 1 million cameras in the stadium?

Arsenal has just served me one of the worst loses I’ve experienced as a Liverpool fan. We lost to Arsenal at Anfield for the first time in 14 years without even recording in single shot on target. We have the most expensive frontline in the history of the Premier League 💔

🚨 Virgil van Dijk: “There was a clear penalty for us. VAR doesn’t notice it? There are 50 cameras…”.
“Why does he have to complain when there’s so many cameras? Everyone has seen it. At the end of the day, it wasn’t given so congratulations to Arsenal”.

🚨 Thierry Henry launches furious attack on the refereeing against Liverpool:
“At some point, we have to stop pretending these decisions are normal. I understand football is a difficult game to officiate, but what exactly are we watching here?
Liverpool are competing for points, not asking for favours. You cannot make decisions like that and expect everyone to simply move on. The referee has a responsibility, VAR has a responsibility, and today I think they have failed Liverpool.
If that happens to Arsenal, Manchester City or Real Madrid, believe me, we would be talking about it for the next three days. But because it’s Liverpool, everybody suddenly wants to remain quiet.”
