Mason Taylor is the 5th TE in Jets history to score 14+ points in a game. The first since Ryan Griffin scored 14 against the Jaguars in 2019.
Jets are averaging 7.49 yards per play through 3 quarters today; if that holds, it would be the best offensive production by the team since the Mike White game against the Bears in 2022.

NFL teams had won 40 straight games when gaining 350+ yards and doubling their opponent in yards....
And then in week 6, Seahawks lost to the Broncos.
And then the Colts lost to the Titans.
I can’t believe he managed to not just insert an insult on the Jets home field. Very off brand
#Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers calls out Raymond James Stadium for being “one of the worst surfaces in the league.”
With a Jets win today, Geno Smith will have led three different teams in three seasons to wins over Drake Maye and the Patriots.
The 2026 Jets are the first team since the 1999 Bucs to hold their opponents to under 200 yards of offense in 3 of their first 5 games.
Over the last two seasons, in two games against the Browns, the Jets have combined to gain 26 first downs and throw for a *total* of 184 passing yards.... and go 2-0.
New wave but the math has been clear in this for awhile. I write about it as non controversial in 2015; Belichick did it in 1994

In Kenneth Walker’s last 10 games, his team is 10-0 and he’s totaled 1,392 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging 5.66 yards per carry.
Seeing this a bit on my timeline....
3 of the 7 were intentional (or tried to draw offsides) delay of game penalties on 4th down.
A 4th was an intentional delay of game on 1st down from the Jets own 1-foot line when they tried to draw CHI offsides.
3 delay of game mistakes
The Jets offense has 7 delay of game penalties already this season, easily the most in the NFL.
It's the most delay of game penalties by an NFL offense thru the first 4 weeks of the season since at least 2000 (per @TruMediaSports).
The Jets finished with 15 pass attempts and less than 60 rushing yards.
How rare is that? It’s never happened before in franchise history and just the 8th time at all in the Super Bowl era.
