Final Fantasy Resonance I’m finding is not only incredibly fun, but well paced. I feel I could play it for the whole day and not feel bored once. It really doesn’t suffer from the pacing issues that literally every other modern Final Fantasy game has suffered from this decade.

Scenes like this are better suited to this art style than hyper-realistic ones. I think that’s part of the trouble with more recent Final Fantasy titles trying to be whimsical. For many, it’s a mismatch.
