Around 2016 is when Bioware went down the drain. Every release after was a bug riddled nightmare that focused more on queer representation than making games that applied to anyone outside of the LGBTQ & games journalist praised them for it. At least they owned the chuds I guess.

CD Projekt Red has hired so many Cyberpunk 2077 modders that Cyberpunk 2’s associate game director says around half of the quest team are former modders.
Pawel Sasko says modding can be a “foot-in-the-door technique” and a “gateway into game dev,” giving talented fans real experience with how games are built.
“We actually hired so many modders. I would say, at this point, half of the quest team is all former modders.”
Some of the developers working at CD Projekt Red started out making mods as far back as The Witcher 2.

The BioWare of old were making games that won GOTY, back when it was relevant.
The BioWare of new were making games for investors and mentally ill freaks who don’t support the agenda they push. If you exposed them, they shamed you for not buying their trash games.
I feel nothing about their closure but relief. Relief that at-least one of my franchises I love will remain untouched.

PC Game Pass is now playable on Steam Deck without installing Windows.
Xodus Nexus is an open-source Linux launcher that lets you download and run supported Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass games locally through a modified Wine/Proton setup.
The latest update adds experimental Steam Deck support, including controller navigation and Steam Gaming Mode integration. You can even add the launcher or individual games to your Steam library.
Games already tested on Linux include Gears of War: E-Day, Forza Horizon 6, Deep Rock Galactic, Minecraft Dungeons II, No Man’s Sky and Palworld.
It’s still very much a work in progress. Some games don’t work, older UWP titles aren’t supported, and some login or online features can have problems.
