Will use this thread to review the books I read in 2019, 1 tweet per book. This year I'm going to go through the @vulture 21st century canon. I've read 20/100 previously so will go through the remaining 80. Books from list will be numbered, those not from Vulture list with a *

Not that it's a surprise, but it's pretty disgusting how close retail got to being dumped on with We Shame we never got the opportunity to short mind

Such a novel idea, going through the portfolio building by building to estimate the valuation. Not like you'd bother doing that just as regular business or anything

25. Excellent. The world is enchanting, even if it's bleak (it is about Chechnya). I liked the structure, but more than that I loved all the little details, the fabric of the society Marra weaves. And a debut novel too, just amazing. 9/10 goodreads.com/book/show/1842…

* Hard to return to world so many love. Dont want to spoil, excellent book, not as claustrophobic/suspenseful due to focus away from HM and towards characters with more agency, lost track of no. 4-6 wd sentences MA manages to convey so much through 9/10 goodreads.com/book/show/4297…
* Surprised by 3 things re-reading this: 1-that there were so many signposts to the identity twist, don't remember it being that explicit; 2-i actually prefer Palahniuk's later writing; 3-the absence of proferred solutions or moralising is refreshing 8/10 goodreads.com/book/show/3623…

* Grown to love tight scifi/dysto focusing on specific part of world in detail. Mostly takes place on wall around UK, conscripted soldier keeping out 'the other' (i can does allegories gd). Ending was a bit copout but rest was paced well and engaging 8/10 goodreads.com/book/show/4018…

Back to the good old days where a binance listing led to drops
Alt szn is like the British summer, waiting for ages, moan throughout the brief sun, then it's thunder, lightning and rain in august

My only hope now after taking profits too early on dusk (going to be sick if it pulls another Matic) is for Ankr to go on a similar run

ETH is dead at 18s on the ratio *Boosts from CDP reluctantly*
All of this and the below thread and it's embarrassing
Sometimes I wonder if CT is just a game of restraint where people in the know battle each other to not be the 1st to call out @APompliano on the profoundly stupid shit he says to protect their own chances at clout. So far I've seen 3 real MVPs: @udiWertheimer @lawmaster @sassal0x
