People claiming now that Free Hit GW29 may be a waste and will play with few players, or well done to people who planned and don’t need to Free Hit, IMO are wrong. 1) Waste of a Free Hit - Playing under 8 players whilst FH chips can have triple Spurs v Fulham and triple Brentford v Burnley, as well as attacking players with West Ham and Villa. Remember COMBINING players is a huge differential. So yes, some may have Son, some may have Richarlison, some may have Maddison. VERY few will have 2 or 3. 2) Well done planners- No because from before GW27 they must have been using transfers and hits from these teams that people don’t want, blanked or had tough fixtures. The ‘planners’ having Villa, and perhaps Bowen, Areola, Toney and maybe one spurs (who blanked) , I understand. But that also means the planners have had Luton/Forest/Fulham/Spurs (blanked)/Burnley/Brentford for several gameweeks all for the sake of saving one chip for one gameweek. And they’ll bring more of those players in to try and take their 7-ish up to 11. Which means sacrificing the likes of your Arsenal/City/Liverpool etc. for several gameweeks until they wildcard. It’s an easy Free Hit. The way to compare is: If you free hit 29, plus that GW score with the other time you would have Free Hit. If you free hit in, for example, 34, plus that score with your 29 score and see what happens. FH29 for full squad and Wildcard before GW34 so you can get all the doublers you want sounds better than wasting weeks with ‘bad’ players to free hit a team later that many will likely have wildcarded in anyway. #FPL
